Abstract: A compressor assembly is provided and may include a compression cylinder and a compression piston disposed within the compression cylinder that compresses a vapor disposed within the compression cylinder from a suction pressure to a discharge pressure. The compressor assembly may additionally include a crankshaft that cycles the compression piston within the compression cylinder and an injection port in fluid communication with the compression cylinder that selectively communicates intermediate-pressure vapor at a pressure between the suction pressure vapor and the discharge pressure vapor to the compression cylinder. The injection port may communicate the intermediate-pressure vapor to the compression cylinder when the compression piston exposes the injection port and may be prevented from communicating the intermediate-pressure vapor to the compression cylinder when the compression piston blocks the injection port.

Abstract: A braking system includes a brake pad that is coupled to a slider assembly that moves linearly within a guide. The slider assembly and guide are coupled to a first brake. A second brake actuator is coupled to the slider assembly, the guide and a second brake. When the first brake is actuated, the slider assembly is pressed against a rotating braking surface and the friction of the brake pad against the rotating braking surface can cause the slider assembly to move within the guide which actuates the second brake actuator. The second brake actuator then actuates the second brake. When the first brake is released, the slider assembly is removed from the rotating braking surface and the second brake actuator is released which releases the second brake.

Abstract: Features are disclosed for managing the use of speech recognition models and data in automated speech recognition systems. Models and data may be retrieved asynchronously and used as they are received or after an utterance is initially processed with more general or different models. Once received, the models and statistics can be cached. Statistics needed to update models and data may also be retrieved asynchronously so that it may be used to update the models and data as it becomes available. The updated models and data may be immediately used to re-process an utterance, or saved for use in processing subsequently received utterances. User interactions with the automated speech recognition system may be tracked in order to predict when a user is likely to utilize the system. Models and data may be pre-cached based on such predictions.
