Abstract: A sensor assembly that integrates a camera and a radar sensor is described herein. The sensor assembly includes a housing configured to partially enclose the camera and the radar sensor, and define a partial radome that partially intrudes into the radar beam. The partial radome is configured such that after passing through the partial radome a first phase angle of the first portion of the radar beam differs from a second phase angle of the second portion of the radar beam by an amount substantially corresponding to an integer number of three hundred sixty degrees (360°) of phase angle shift. The partial radome provides glare shield to the camera, protection to assembly, and is configured to minimally effect radar performance.
Abstract: An enhanced lubricant formulation is provided as a formulation that improves upon existing lubricant systems by enhancing the tribological properties. The formulation utilizes inorganic fullerene-like tungsten disulfide (IF-WS2) nanoparticles combined with an existing lubricant to reduce friction and recondition the interfacing surfaces of moving parts. The IF-WS2 nanoparticles are uniform symmetrical and spherical structure that provides a rolling effect between two interfacing surfaces. The IF-WS2 nanoparticles additionally exfoliate portions of their lamellar exterior as a tribological film that reduces the surface roughness on interfacing surfaces resulting in a decrease in friction. The formulation reduces the requirement for frequent replacement of the lubricant and additionally provides improved performance under conditions of extreme temperature and pressure.

Abstract: Electrical isolation in non-volatile memory is provided by air gaps formed using sacrificial films of differing etch rates. A high etch rate material is formed in an isolation trench. Flowable chemical vapor deposition processes are used to form high etch rate films, and curing is performed to increase their etch rate. A low etch material is formed over the high etch rate material and provides a controlled etch back between charge storage regions in a row direction. A discrete low etch rate layer can be formed or the high etch rate material can be oxidized to form an upper region with a lower etch rate. A controlled etch back enables formation of a wrap-around dielectric and control gate structure in the row direction with minimized variability in the dimensions of the structures. At least a portion of the high etch rate material is removed to form air gaps for isolation.

Abstract: An intravascular sensor system including an array of pressure and/or temperature sensors for detecting pressure and/temperature. In one example, the sensors are interrogated with an optical catheter. In this example, the swept source is able to acquire both image and pressure/temperature data of a patient's vessel or artery. In another example, the intravascular pressure sensor system has a sheath embedded with pressure sensors in the sheath wall. Other examples include the process of making and using the intravascular pressure sensor system.
Abstract: An example method is provided that includes receiving a representation of a codeword that includes a plurality of bits, and associating the bits with a respective plurality of one-bit hard-bit values representing the bits and multiple-bit soft-bit values representing measures of reliability of respective hard-bit values. The method includes for each of a plurality of iterations, updating a hard-bit/soft-bit value of one or more bits of a respective subset of the bits as a function of current hard-bit values of the subset's bits, and the current hard-bit and soft-bit values of the respective bit. For two iterations in which the current hard-bit and soft-bit values for each bit of a subset for both iterations is the same, the hard-bit/soft-bit value updated for any bit of the subset during one of the two iterations is the same as that computed for the respective bit during the other of the two iterations.

Abstract: In some embodiments of the present invention, a data storage system includes a controller and a non-volatile memory array having a plurality of memory pages. The controller performs a method that efficiently resolves the lower page corruption problem. In one embodiment, the method selects programmed lower page(s) for which paired upper page(s) have not been programmed, reads data from those selected lower page(s), corrects the read data, and reprograms the read data into those lower page(s). Since the number of lower pages in this condition is typically low (e.g., several pages in a block with hundreds or thousands of pages), this is a much more efficient method than reprogramming the entire block. In another embodiment, a similar reprogramming method is applied as a data recovery scheme in situations in which only lower pages are programmed (e.g., SLC memory, MLC memory in SLC mode, etc.).
Abstract: An apparatus to automatically prioritize and divide a video into a plurality of video segments for a user, wherein the apparatus comprises a processor configured to, obtain a plurality of video content data that describes the content within the video, display the video in a viewable format for the user, receive at least one keyword from a search field, wherein the keyword indicates the type of video content data the user is searching for, search through the video content data using the keyword, divide the video into the plurality of video segments using the keyword, prioritize the video segments using the keyword, and display the prioritize video segments in a priority list.
Abstract: A method of adaptively scheduling ultrasound device actions starts with an electronic circuit included in an adaptive scheduler selecting a next task in a task list. The task list may include tasks scheduled to be performed by an ultrasound system. Each of the tasks may include a plurality of task actions. The electronic circuit may then determine if a task action included in the next task can start. This determination may include determining if the task action can be completed without interfering with a start of a higher priority task in the task list. When the electronic circuit determines that the next task action can start, the electronic circuit may signal to a beam associated with the task action to start and perform the task action. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Abstract: Described herein are, among other things, systems and methods for synchronizing cookies across different domains, and leveraging such systems and methods for content delivery. For example, two parties hosting content under different domain names from one another may desire to synchronize identification or ‘ID’ cookies that hold identifiers for a given client and/or end-user, so that one or both of the parties can map a given identifier from one domain to the identifier used in the other domain. Without limitation, some techniques described herein leverage one or more proxy servers that may be part of a distributed computing platform known as a content delivery network. Further, by way of example, some of the techniques for cookie synchronization can be leveraged to accelerate the delivery of content on a website with content from multiple domains.
Abstract: An invention is provided for a providing authentication in a network environment. current radio frequency (RF) measurement data is received from a client device, wherein the current RF measurement data is based on a measured effect of the intervening materials on RF signals received at the client device from a remote RF source.
