  • Patent number: 12008995
Abstract: A system is provided for determining subscription data when a user requests to receive an output in the future when an event occurs. The system may determine an output type based on the capabilities of the output device and a trigger type. The system may determine a trigger type based on the priority of the triggering event. The system may also determine how many times the subscription is to be executed. Using this information, the system creates the subscription so that the user may receive a notification or an announcement when an event occurs.

  • Patent number: 12009604
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe mounting one or more lasers onto an AP to generate a laser pattern on a surface representing the coverage area of an antenna in the AP. In one embodiment, the antenna is a steerable antenna that can be electronically or mechanical steered to point to different directions (without moving the AP as a whole). The laser or lasers can be used to visualize the coverage area of the steerable antenna when pointing in different directions. Advantageously, a technician can use the laser or lasers to identify a location where, if steered, the antenna would provide the desired coverage area. The technician can then steer the antenna to point in that direction to provide the desired radio frequency (RF) coverage.

  • Patent number: 12008610
Abstract: A network system provides interventions to providers to reduce the likelihood that its users will experience safety incidents. The providers provide service to the users such as transportation. Providers who are safe and have positive interpersonal behavior may be perceived by users as high quality providers. However, other providers may be more prone to cause safety incidents. A machine learning model is trained using features derived from service received by users of the network system. Randomized experiments and trained models predict the effectiveness of various interventions on a provider based on characteristics of the provider and the feedback received for the provider. As interventions are sent to providers, the change in feedback can indicate whether the intervention was effective. By providing messages proactively, the network system may prevent future safety incidents from occurring.

  • Patent number: 12009024
Abstract: A circuit includes a delay generation circuit. The delay generation circuit is configured to generate a sub-grab signal for each of the storage areas based on an initial grab signal and data transmission delay of each of the storage areas, and generate a grab enable signal based on all the sub-grab signals. A time interval between a time when the read-write control circuit receives data transmitted from each of the storage areas by a global data line and a time when the read-write control circuit receives the sub-grab signal corresponding to the storage area satisfies a preset range. The read-write control circuit is configured to read out data of the global data line to a data bus based on the grab enable signal. Therefore, the tCCD of the DRAM is optimized.

  • Patent number: 12008990
Abstract: Techniques for receiving a voice command from a user and, in response, providing audible content to the user via a first device and providing visual content for the user via a second device. In some instances, the first device includes a microphone for generating audio signals that include user speech, as well as a speaker for outputting audible content in response to identified voice commands from the speech. However, the first device might not include a display for displaying graphical content. As such, the first device may be configured to identify devices that include displays and that are proximate to the first device. The first device may then instruct one or more of these other devices to output visual content associated with a user's voice command.

  • Patent number: 12009027
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus related to memory devices. In one approach, a cross-point memory array includes memory cells. A media controller reads one or more first memory cells and determines a read status. The read status indicates an error when reading the first memory cells. In response to this error, the controller refreshes the first memory cells. The controller uses the read status to determine zero-to-one failures associated with the first memory cells. If a number of these failures exceeds a threshold, then a refresh is applied to neighboring memory cells of the first memory cells. The physical addresses for the neighboring memory cells are determined by the controller from the physical addresses for the first memory cells.

  • Patent number: 12010232
Abstract: A cryptography administration system facilitates secure, user-friendly and auditable cryptography. An administrator may create channels with associated cryptographic keys and algorithms for performing cryptographic operations such as encryption and decryption. The channel may be associated with licenses which may include permissions to perform cryptographic operations. The licenses may be shared with one or more users. A user may perform cryptographic operations using the channel according to the permissions and operations included in the licenses, to which the user has access, associated with the channel. The user does not need a technical understanding of the cryptographic system (e.g., keys and algorithms) to perform the cryptographic operations and does not need access to the keys to perform the operations. The cryptographic operations may be stored in an audit log that can be reviewed by user.

  • Patent number: 12009028
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices related to auto-referenced memory cell read techniques are described. The auto-referenced read may encode user data to include a predetermined number of bits having a first logic state prior to storing the user data in memory cells. The auto-referenced read may store a total number of bits of the user data having a first logic state in a separate set of memory cells. Subsequently, reading the user data may be carried out by applying a read voltage to the memory cells storing the user data while monitoring a series of switching events by activating a subset of the memory cells having the first logic state. During the read operation, the auto-referenced read may compare the number of activated memory cells to either the predetermined number or the total number to determine whether all the bits having the first logic state has been detected.
