Abstract: An apparatus and method for using a mobile computer device for graphically displaying and modifying information in a manner to enhance comprehension of the information and allowing for the mobile and decentralized management of information to be accomplished, wherein such information may be related to bed management and patient placement information and, furthermore, enabling the information of interest to be organized, sorted, and used in various useful and novel ways.
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for automated task scheduling and management. In some embodiments, a system for automated task scheduling may comprise at least one processor configured to receive a request with information for a task to be performed by a respondent. The one or more processors may retrieve employee information and, based on one or more attributes in the employee information and one or more attributes in the task information, identify one or more employees to complete the task. The one or more processors may assign the task to the identified employee(s), and monitor a status of the task based on periodic inputs from the employee.

Abstract: An aspect provides a method, including receiving an indication that a tag associated with a real time location system has been detected at a pre-determined location, the detected tag being associated with a patient in a hospital; and assigning a status of the patient based on detection of the tag; and updating a bed availability indication based on detection of the tag. Other aspects are described and claimed.

Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods for digital content protection and security in multi-computer networks are provided. In one embodiment, a system for cryptographic digital content protection and security is disclosed. The system may include at least one processor, and a storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed, configure the at least one processor to determine specifications of a computer terminal, determine a status of the computer terminal as a public terminal or a private terminal, identify sensitive information in a data transmission, generate output instructions associated with the sensitive information, and provide the data transmission and the output instructions to the computer terminal over a network.
Abstract: An example embodiment provides a method, including: transmitting, to a rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object and after the rotatable tag wakes from a sleep mode, a request for presence information from at least one receiver, wherein the presence information comprises a request to determine if the rotatable tag is within a perimeter with respect to the at least one receiver; the rotatable tag comprising a tag having more than one indicator associated with a use state of the moveable object and the rotatable tag providing a visual signal representing a current use state of the moveable object; receiving, at the at least one receiver from the rotatable tag, identification information associated with the moveable object, wherein the identification information comprises information identifying the moveable object and the requested presence information; and receiving, from the rotatable tag, information identifying the current use state at the at least one receiver.
Abstract: Centralized hospital communication system and methods are provided for event monitoring and notification. In some embodiments, consistent with the present embodiments, a centralized hospital communication server is disclosed.
Abstract: An example embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at a rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, a signal to wake the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, wherein the rotatable tag comprises a tag having more than one indicator associated with a use state of a moveable object, wherein a current use state of the moveable object is indicated by a visual indication on the rotatable tag and transmitted to at least one receiver; providing, from the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, identification information associated with the moveable object; transmitting, from the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, location data to the at least one receiver; and transmitting, from the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, use state information derived from the current use state of the rotatable tag and is associated with the moveable object. Related systems are also provided herein.
