Abstract: An example embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at a rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, a signal to wake the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, wherein the rotatable tag comprises a tag having more than one indicator associated with a use state of a moveable object, wherein a current use state of the moveable object is indicated by a visual indication on the rotatable tag and transmitted to at least one receiver; providing, from the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, identification information associated with the moveable object; transmitting, from the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, location data to the at least one receiver; and transmitting, from the rotatable tag affixed to a moveable object, use state information derived from the current use state of the rotatable tag and is associated with the moveable object. Abstract: An embodiment provides a mobile application that animates change information in a way that specifically indicates a change in workflow information for various users. This animation of change information permits users, which are often busy healthcare professionals, to be quickly apprised of relevant changes to workflow status. The mobile application also allows users to communicate change information, e.g., for updating the status of a workflow item, which may then be propagated throughout a network, including mobile devices.

Abstract: An embodiment provides a method of graphically displaying room information, including: displaying, on an electronic device, a matrix having a plurality of cells therein, at least one cell displaying hospital room information regarding room availability and patient occupancy in the room; said matrix displaying the plurality of cells in column form; and displaying, responsive to a user interaction with a cell in the matrix of a patient occupied hospital room, an overlay window having secondary room status information therein comprising patient specific information regarding the status of the hospital room.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for using a mobile computer device for graphically displaying and modifying information in a manner to enhance comprehension of the information and allowing for the mobile and decentralized management of information to be accomplished, wherein such information may be related to bed management and patient placement information and, furthermore, enabling the information of interest to be organized, sorted, and used in various useful and novel ways.
