  • Patent number: 5975400
Abstract: A follow block structure of a magazine for stapling guns adapted for use in a fastener feed structure of a stapling gun, the magazine including a slide groove along which a follow block may slidably displace. The follow block includes a pull tab extending from one side thereof, a recess at a central portion thereof for mounting a slide element. The slide element is insertably fitted to the follow block to aid the follow block in slidable displacement along the slide groove to push fasteners forwardly. The slide element is made of engineering plastics so that there is a relatively small friction coefficient when it slides along the slide groove which is made of aluminum alloy. The slide element has good wear resistance and can ensure the smooth displacement of the follow block. Besides, the slide element can be easily and conveniently replaced when worn so that maintenance cost is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5816468
Abstract: A no-idle-striking structure for nailing machines including a strike assembly, a bumper bar, a magazine, and a follow plate. The bumper bar is provided with a hook which may extend into a magazine support. The follow plate has a stop portion. When there are nails in the magazine, the bumper bar is in normal state so that pulling of the trigger will cause a nail to be driven into a workpiece. But when the nails are used up, the follow plate will elevate to the position of the magazine support so that its stop portion will restrain the hook of the bumper bar from displacing rearwardly. As a result, pulling of the trigger will not effect any striking.

  • Patent number: 5692663
Abstract: The improved trigger structure for nailing guns includes a substantially C-shaped pin having a longer arm and a shorter arm; a trigger having two upright side plates each of which has a first lug with a pivot hole at a top end thereof for pivotally connecting the trigger to a gun body and a second lug with a pivot hole at a bottom end thereof for receiving the longer arm of the pin, and a trigger element having an upright plate body with two opposite lugs. Each side plate has a first curved indentation at a suitable position between the first lug and the second lug for mounting the shorter arm of the pin. A second curved indentation is provided at a bottom edge of each of said side plates for receiving and hence positioning the shorter arm of the pin.

  • Patent number: 5564614
Abstract: A nailing depth adjusting mechanism for a pneumatic nail gun is described. The mechanism includes a firing control strip fastened to the gun body which releases the firing pin of the pneumatic nail gun. The firing control strip has two parallel lugs and a toothed adjusting wheel disposed between the lugs. The wheel has a longitudinal axially internally threaded hole and holes are provided in the lugs. A safety bar is provided having a threaded rod at one end. The rod is inserted through the lugs and threadedly received in the hole in the adjusting wheel. The end extending from the wheel is received in a socket which, in turn, is received in a hole through one lug. A compression spring is provided between the adjusting wheel and the opposite lug. Rotation of the wheel then displaces the threaded rod within the mechanism and, in turn, moves the safety bar.
