Abstract: A solar cell includes a back electrode, a silicon substrate, a doped silicon layer and an upper electrode arranged in that order. The silicon substrate comprises a number of three-dimensional nano-structures aligned side by side adjacent to the upper electrode. The doped silicon layer is located on a surface of the three-dimensional nano-structures. A cross section of each three-dimensional nano-structure is M-shaped.

Abstract: An instrument for producing hydrogen-dissolved liquid comprises a hydrogen generating system stored in a separator, and the hydrogen generating system comprises: a hydrogen generating agent that reacts with raw water to generate hydrogen; a metal-ion sequestering agent that sequesters metal ions dissolved from the hydrogen generating agent; and a pH adjusting agent.

Abstract: A backlight unit and a display apparatus are provided. The backlight unit including light emitting elements disposed in parallel with each other along a rear side of a display panel; and light guide blocks. Each of the light blocks has a shape of a conical hat and respectively corresponds to one of the light emitting elements. Each of the light guide blocks also includes an accommodation part accommodating the light emitting element such that light radiated from the light emitting element is incident to the light guide block; a slope part extending at an angle from an edge of the bottom side of the guide block toward the display panel and refracting light spread in the light guide block to transmit the light to the display panel; and a pattern part having a patterned shape so as to reflect light spread in the light guide block toward the slope part.

Abstract: A mobile handset collects sensor data about the physiological state of the user of the handset. The mobile handset receives mobile advertising. In a deployment phase the sensor data is used to classify the user's emotional response to the advertising. A classification model may be used to map sensor data to classification labels indicative of the user's emotional response to an advertisement. That classification model may be based on associations determined during a training phase. The method, system, and apparatus permits real-time feedback to publishers and advertisers of the response of users of mobile handsets to mobile advertising.

Abstract: A method and device of channel equalization and beam controlling for a digital speaker array system includes (1) converting digital format; (2) performing channel equalization; (3) controlling beam-forming; (4) performing multi-bit ?-? modulation; (5) performing thermometer code conversion; (6) performing dynamic mismatch-shaping processing; and (7) extracting the channel information to send to the digital power amplifier and drive the array sound. A device includes a sound source, a digital converter, a channel equalizer, a beam-former, a ?-? modulator, a thermometer coder, a dynamic mismatch shaper, an extraction selector, a multi-channel digital power amplifier and a speaker array. Each unit connects to each other serially.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a camera module and an optical touch screen using the same, the camera module including an infrared emitting diode for emitting infrared ray, a first infrared pass filter passing only the infrared ray reflected by a retro reflector, an object lens condensing the infrared ray that has passed the first infrared pass filter, a second infrared pass filter passing an infrared ray of a particular wave band among the infrared ray condensed by the object lens, and a linear sensor for detecting an area touched by incidence of infrared ray that has passed the second infrared pass filter.

Abstract: There are provided a system and method for detecting Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) attacks. The ARP spoofing attack detection system includes: a reception module which receives an ARP packet, and which determines whether the received ARP packet is an unsolicited ARP packet; a transmission module which creates, if the ARP packet is an unsolicited ARP packet, an ARP request packet corresponding to the unsolicited ARP packet, and which broadcasts the ARP request packet; and a detection module which determines, if an ARP response packet corresponding to the ARP request packet is received, whether an input port of the ARP response packet is identical to an input port of the unsolicited ARP packet, and which determines that an ARP spoofing attack has occurred if the input port of the ARP response packet is not identical to the input port of the unsolicited ARP packet.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a static mixer for mixing a urea solution and engine exhaust gas. The static mixer includes: an external tube including one end portion connected to an exhaust manifold of a diesel engine, the other end portion connected to an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), and a part with which a urea solution injection adaptor is provided; an internal tube installed inside the external tube so as to have a constant gap between at least a part of an outer wall surface and an inner wall surface of the external tube; and a channel unit comprising a plurality of guiding channels provided inside the internal tube in a longitudinal direction, and having an inlet portion facing a lower end portion of the urea solution injector adaptor.

Each fixing portion is in tight contact with the corresponding side of the waveguide plate. The waveguide plate is received in the bracket. Abstract: An object is to manufacture a semiconductor device including an oxide semiconductor at low cost with high productivity in such a manner that a photolithography process is simplified by reducing the number of light-exposure masks. In a method for manufacturing a semiconductor device including a channel-etched inverted-stagger thin film transistor, an oxide semiconductor film and a conductive film are etched using a mask layer formed with the use of a multi-tone mask which is a light-exposure mask through which light is transmitted so as to have a plurality of intensities. The etching step is performed by wet etching in which an etching solution is used.

A gap exists between each two adjacent support plates, communicating with the first chamber and the second chamber. The air cooling device includes a first unit defining a first inlet communicating with the first chamber and a first outlet communicating with the second chamber. The first unit cools the air taken from the first chamber via the first inlet, and outputs the cooled air into the second chamber via the first outlet.

Abstract: A chemically amplified positive resist composition comprising (A) a triarylsulfonium salt of 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-2-(1,1,2,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropoxy)propionic acid, (B) an acid generator, (C) a base resin, and (D) an organic solvent is suited for ArF immersion lithography. The sulfonium salt is highly hydrophobic and little leached out in immersion water. By virtue of controlled acid diffusion, a pattern profile with high resolution can be constructed.

Abstract: A physical coding sublayer includes a first channel configured to receive a first encoded data stream from a physical media attachment layer and to provide a first decoded data stream to a media access layer. The first channel includes a first circuit configured to detect synchronization headers in the first encoded data stream received from the physical media attachment layer, a decoding circuit configured to decode the encoded data stream and to adjust a width of the received data from a first width to a second width based on a signal identifying the synchronization headers received from the first circuit, and a first single configured to compensate for clock differences between the physical media attachment layer and the media access layer to which the first buffer provides the first decoded data stream.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a drying device for drying a glass substrate with alignment liquid sprayed thereon. The drying device includes a container, a belt conveying mechanism, and an infra-red heater. The belt conveying mechanism is disposed inside the container for conveying the glass substrate. The belt conveying mechanism includes a conveyer for supporting the glass substrate. The infra-red heater is disposed on an inner surface of the container and corresponding to an external surface of the conveyer contacting the glass substrate. The present disclosure further provides a conveying apparatus with the drying device. With the drying device and the conveying apparatus of the present disclosure, the glass substrate is conveyed by the conveyer and is heated evenly. Thus, a situation where the glass substrate is unevenly heated and a thickness of the alignment film become non-uniform can be avoided somewhat.

Abstract: An image processing method applied to an image capturing device includes the following steps. Firstly, a number of shooting parameters, provided by an image capturing module of the image capturing device, are obtained. Next, a number of super resolution parameters are obtained according to the shooting parameters. Then, a captured image is obtained through the image capturing module. After that, a super resolution operation is executed on the captured image based on the super resolution parameters.
