  • Patent number: 10895369
Abstract: A flashlight assembly includes a body having a head portion at one end and an opposing tapered tail portion and a clamping assembly on a bottom side of the body. The tail portion of the body tapers rearwardly towards a tail end thereof and downwardly from an upper side towards the bottom side, such that the tail end of the tail portion merges with the bottom side of the body and forms an inclined contoured surface extending from the bottom side to the top side. A contoured switch is mounted within the inclined angled surface of the tapered tail portion, and includes a safety bail pivotably movable to selectively mechanically impede operation of the switch.

  • Patent number: 10897037
Abstract: The invention is directed to a process for forming a particle film on a substrate. Preferably, a series of corona guns, staggered to optimize film thickness uniformity, are oriented on both sides of a slowly translating grounded substrate (copper or aluminum for the anode or cathode, respectively). The substrate is preferably slightly heated to induce binder flow, and passed through a set of hot rollers that further induce melting and improve film uniformity. The sheeting is collected on a roll or can be combined in-situ and rolled into a single-cell battery. The invention is also directed to products formed by the processes of the invention and, in particular, batteries.

  • Publication number: 20210004036
Abstract: A dynamic auto-adaptive volt/VAR control includes a memory storing program code, a communications channel operatively connected to a volt/VAR device, and a processor. The processor is configured to access a database of prior system knowledge and receive real-time measurements and power system operating condition information. The processor processes the prior system knowledge and the real time measurements and operating condition information to create a set of commands for voltage and reactive power control that will result in at least one of: (a) maintaining a voltage profile at the volt/VAR device within predefined limits, or (b) reducing electrical losses through voltage optimization. The processor causes the set of commands to be sent to the volt/VAR device.
