Abstract: A furniture base including a plurality of legs, each leg may include a top portion, a bottom portion, and at least one curve along at least a portion of its length; a central collector which may include a plurality of compartments; and the plurality of compartments and the plurality of legs may be arranged relative to one another such that one of the top or bottom portions of each leg may be positioned within each compartment, and the other of the top or bottom portions of each leg may be positioned away from the central collector; wherein, for each leg, the portion of the leg positioned within the compartment may be positioned in one of the compartments other than the compartment arranged closest to the other portion of the leg.

Abstract: An elastomeric plastic material is molded by known methods to provide a formed, sized, shaped and self-contained, generally unitary, protective member for correspondingly shaped and sized unfinished, raw and the like edge of furniture or other devices which require protection or coverage, such that the protective member, because of its elastomeric characteristics, can be fitted or snapped into assembled position about such unprotected or unfinished edge and then easily fixed into assembled position, by conventional stapling using associated spaced flanges thereon, saving costs of material and labor. In the molding, additional modifications can be added such as a hand grip to facilitate movement of the furniture. The plastic protective member can be molded with a central cavity having an opening into which colored and non-colored fillers and/or braided rope can be inserted.

Abstract: Generally large objects including ergonomic gaming stools are provided with a supporting assembly including an easy rolling support base to enable them to be moved easily along a generally unidirectional line of movement. An easy rolling support base for the supporting assembly includes a shaped disc member to the underside of which are affixed a plurality of freely mounted roller members in predetermined angular spaced relationship. The freely mounted roller members are so mounted that the rollers are in alignment with each other and rotate in the same direction. A roller members connecting plate is provided to facilitate mounting the roller members in predetermined angular position before they are mounted into assembled position on the easy rolling support base and to facilitate repair of a roller member that may fail. The roller members are formed of materials to support the load and shaped to oppose other than unidirectional movement.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention may include a support assembly adapted to be connected to an object for moving the object along a track, including a sled base having a track defined along at least a portion of its length, and an attachment support for supporting an object having an upper region and a lower region, the upper region may be adapted to be coupled to the object, and wherein the lower region of the attachment support may be moveably coupled to the track such that the attachment support may be slidable along at least a portion of the length of said track. The support assembly may be adjusted by a user to adjust the distance between the object and a solid object either in front of or behind the object. Additionally, the support assembly may also include an automatic repositioning mechanism which may automatically return the object to its original position once the user vacates the object.
