Abstract: Generally large objects including ergonomic gaming stools are provided with a supporting assembly including an easy rolling support base to enable them to be moved easily along a generally unidirectional line of movement. An easy rolling support base for the supporting assembly includes a shaped disc member to the underside of which are affixed a plurality of freely mounted roller members in predetermined angular spaced relationship. The freely mounted roller members are so mounted that the rollers are in alignment with each other and rotate in the same direction. A roller members connecting plate is provided to facilitate mounting the roller members in predetermined angular position before they are mounted into assembled position on the easy rolling support base and to facilitate repair of a roller member that may fail. The roller members are formed of materials to support the load and shaped to oppose other than unidirectional movement.

Abstract: A gaming stool to enable an associated gaming machine to be serviced has a seating section, a support assembly connected to the seating section, and self-adjusting resilient means connected to the seating section for normally maintaining the seating section at a predetermined height. The support assembly is operatively associated with the self-adjusting resilient means and includes an upper member and a lower member, disposed for operative inter-engagement with each other. A releasable locking assembly between the inter-engaging upper member and lower member has a wide cut-away section, a cut-in portion and an entrance opening therebetween in the wall of the lower member. A latching member on the inner wall of the upper member will engage the cut-in and hold the seating section in a depressed position and, when disengaged, will return the seating section to the self adjusting operation.

Abstract: Furniture construction such as tables designed for commercial use such as in restaurants, are generally provided with an edge construction capable of absorbing normal impact forces so as to avoid permanent dents or cracks in normal usage. It is also desirable to provide an attractive appearing furniture edge that has a desirable feel and cushioning. A protective table edge that meets these several requirements and others comprises an elongated semi-solid hollow vinyl extrusion, a first portion of which carries a barbed flange perpendicularly thereto and a second portion of which is bowed outwardly with respect to the surface of the first portion, the portions may be and preferably are formed of different polyvinyl chloride material having different degrees of rigidity and of equal importance different colors so that the protective table edge installed upon a table or other furniture may incorporate a constrasting color accent stripe.
