Abstract: The invention provides UV curable coating compositions comprising a synergistic two-component system of aliphatic urethane acrylate resins. The first component is formed by reacting an aliphatic polyisocyanate containing iminooxadiazine dione, isocyanurate, uretdione, urethane, allophanate, biuret, or oxadiazine trione groups with a hydroxyl-functional acrylate. The second component is formed by reacting a multifunctional acrylate with an aliphatic urethane based on alkyl carbomoncycle diisocyanate. The components combine in specific ratios to create coatings with superior hardness, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, and weatherability for automotive applications. Quantifiable structure-property relationships define optimal formulations for specific applications including vehicle headlamp lenses and trim components. Also described are coated articles and methods for their production.
Abstract: Fully transparent or translucent adhesive tape has been used for many years to wrap packages. Many times following the removal of a portion of the subject tapes from the rolls of the subject tapes the portions of the subject tapes that have not been removed from the subject tapes become re-attached to the rolls of the subject tapes. When the foregoing happens it becomes necessary that before the next use of the subject tapes that a person be able to remove the next portion of the subject tapes remaining on the roll of the subject tapes from the rolls of the subject tapes. This invention, by providing a marking system to help find the end of the subject tape remaining on a roll of mostly transparent or mostly translucent type tape, helps to accomplish the first step in the removal process.

Abstract: A filtration system comprising activated charcoal and alternating filtering and regenerating modes for sustainable filtering of a spirit distillate. The filtering mode is a reverse-gravity filtration method wherein distillate is pumped upward from a bottom end of a filter chamber to a top end of the filter chamber and wherein the filter chamber comprises activated charcoal of various pore sizes to capture impurities from the distillate. The cleaning mode is a gravity-flow steam-regeneration method wherein steam flows downward from the top end of the filter chamber to the bottom end of the filter chamber regenerating the activated charcoal. The system alternates between the reverse-gravity filtration method and gravity-flow steam regeneration method through the use of a series of input and output ball valves at the top end of the filter chamber and a series of input and output ball valves at the bottom end of the filter chamber.

Abstract: A Trojan detection system places watermark circuits within an analog circuit design that allow the system to observe a node within an analog circuit under test (CUT) that is otherwise not observable. The watermark circuit can be a pass transistor logic (PTL)-based connection between the node and a readable output pin (i.e., a “watermark output pin”). In particular, the watermark circuits can be inserted at a node where a Trojan is likely to be inserted; thus, the watermarks provide a manner for observing changes (e.g., voltage changes) caused by a malicious modification to an analog circuit. The detection system can identify potential locations (nodes) in the CUT where a Trojan may be inserted using one or more neural networks. The detection system can then insert watermark circuits connected to the identified locations.
