Abstract: There is provided a pouring cap for use with a liquid container, which is characterised by its having a lower peripheral end flange formed with a plurality of radial slits around the whole circumference thereof. Thus, the flange may be made relatively large enough in width to permit the pouring cap not only to be easily fitted into an outer container cap but also to be able to remain in secure engagement with the spout portion of the liquid container even after the outer container cap has been removed from the container.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing granular solid catalyst, comprising the process of mixing more than 1 mole of olefin and 1.0 - 1.2 mole of ketone having 4 or more carbon atoms relative to 1 mole of aluminum halide and effecting reaction at a temperature of more than 60.degree.C.
Abstract: An olefin oligomer having a low viscosity and a high viscosity index can be prepared by polymerizing an olefin having 6 or more carbon atoms in the presence of a mixture of a polyhydric alcohol derivative and an aluminum halide, said derivative being obtained by replacing the hydrogen atoms of all the hydroxyl groups of the polyhydric alcohol by either acyl groups exclusively or by acyl group and alkyl groups both of said groups having 1 - 20 carbon atoms. The thus prepared olefin oligomer scarcely contains halogen, and it has a wide range of uses such as, for instance, a lubricant, a cosmetic base, etc.
Abstract: A heavy-duty granular detergent composition consisting of 10 to 60 wt. percent of sodium citrate, 5 to 40 wt. percent of non-soap anionic surfactants, 0.1 to 10 wt. percent of inorganic aluminum salts and additives for use in conventional detergents, the weight ratio of the citrate to the surfactants being 1/5 to 10/1.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a granular detergent by spray drying a slurry of cleaning materials, which comprises: wetting the surfaces of the granules of detergent formed by spray drying; coating the thus wetted surfaces with 0.02 - 4 parts by weight of powdery builders per 1 part by weight of the granules of detergent; and drying it thereafter.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing reinforced resin moldings, wherein a fiber-reinforced plastic, obtained by the polymerization, in the presence of an inorganic fibrous substance selected from the group consisting of glass fiber, slag wool and asbestos, of a vinyl monomer, within an aqueous medium in the presence of sulfur dioxide, said fiber-reinforced plastic being composed of 5 - 50 wt.% of resin and 95 - 50 wt.% of inorganic substance and coated with a polymer, is subjected to compression molding.
