  • Patent number: 11404861
Abstract: Systems and methods for mitigating ground induced currents are provided. In one or more examples, the systems and methods can utilize one or more device(s) that can be configured to detect DC currents being induced in and propagated along a power line that is transmitting an AC power signal. In one or more examples the device can be separate the desirable AC power waveform from the undesirable induced DC voltage and determine if the level of induced DC propagating on the power line requires mitigation. In one or more examples, if it is determined that mitigation is required, then the device can be configured to trigger a switch that can be shunt the DC power at the AC waveform zero crossing to a circuit element that is configured to dissipate the undesirable DC current. Filtering can be employed to remove any inadvertent low voltage harmonic distortion. The switch can be triggered during a zero-crossing of the signal to minimize disruption to an end user of the power signal.

  • Patent number: 11405285
Abstract: Described are methods, systems, and computer-program product embodiments for deriving a model of computation of a cyber-physical system (CPS). In some embodiments, a method includes receiving, from the CPS network, network-events data corresponding to a process performed by the CPS and including network events and associated group IDs. A plurality of events logs for a plurality of selections of group IDs are generated with each events log including a sequence of network events selected from the network events based on the selection of group IDs for that events log. A plurality of directed graphs for the plurality of events logs are generated with each directed graph generated based on the sequence of network events in the events log. A plurality of group IDs can be determined based on a directed graph selected from the plurality of directed graphs based on a complexity score calculated for each directed graph.

  • Publication number: 20220214438
Abstract: A system and method for generating communications waveforms that can operate in congested frequency spaces and in applications in which the receiver is moving with respect to the transmitter is provided. In one or more examples, each symbol to be encoded and transmitted is converted into a sequence of frequency chirps. The sequence of frequencies used by the sequence of chirps is based on the symbol that is to be encoded. Each chirp can have a center frequency, and the frequency can be swept over the duration of the chirp. In this way each chirp can have a varying frequency over the duration of the chirp, but the phase of the chirp can be continuous throughout the duration of the chirp. The bandwidth and sweep rate of the chirp can be based on the expected maximum velocity of the receiver and the transmitter relative to one another.

In one example, the cyber-physical system under test can include one or more watch-point monitors that can analyze messages between components of the system to determine the presence of one or more particular patterns present in the messages being passed between components of the system during operation. In one or more examples, upon detection of one or more conditions matching a watch point, the systems and methods presented herein can activate an effect and inject it into the cyber-physical system under test based on the detected watch point. In one or more examples, the systems and methods can provide a domain-specific “effects language” (EL) that can allow a user to specify a watch point and an effect corresponding to the watch point.

  • Patent number: 11374950
Abstract: Described are systems and methods for detecting an anomaly among a plurality of components operating in a system. In some embodiments, a method includes monitoring a plurality of metrics for the plurality of components across a plurality of time periods. For each time period, the plurality of components is clustered into a plurality of clusters based on measurement information corresponding to the plurality of metrics received for the time period. For each component, a plurality of correspondences is determined between the clusters in which the component is grouped for a plurality of pairs of adjacent time periods. Then, whether each component is operating anomalously can be determined based on the plurality of determined correspondences.

  • Patent number: 11360179
Abstract: Systems and methods for estimating magnetic susceptibility of a patient through continuous motion in an MRI scanner are provided herein. In one or more examples, during the collection of data, the patient can be instructed to move their head or other part of the body in a continuous manner and for a fixed duration of time. During the fixed duration of time, magnitude a data from the RF signal can be received by one or more RF coils can be collected. The received and undersampled magnitude data can be converted to phase data which can then be converted to magnetic susceptibility. Thus magnetic susceptibility can be determined while allowing for continuous motion during the MRI scan, which can be more comfortable and feasible for the patient in contrast to techniques that require the patient to hold their body at a particular orientation in the scanner for a fixed duration of time.
