The implant can include a funnel-like device where a funnel neck portion can encapsulate and support the intestine and a larger funnel top can attach to and reinforce the abdominal wall. The implant can be a unitary implant constructed of a plurality of undulating strut members.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an aqueous based electrically conductive ink, which is essentially solvent free and includes a nano-scale conducting material; a binding agent; and an enzyme. In one embodiment, the ink includes at least one of a mediator, a cross-linking agent and a substrate as well. In one further embodiment, the present disclosure provides electrically conductive ink including a single walled, carboxylic acid functionalized carbon nanotube; 1-Ethyl-3-[3-dimethylaminopropyl]carbodiimide hydrochloride and N-hydroxy succinimide (NHS) ester; polyethyleneimine; an aqueous buffer; and glucose oxidase.
Abstract: A clamping ring configured to be coupled to a chamber structure of a plasma processing chamber is disclosed. The clamping ring has a plurality of holes for accommodating a plurality of fasteners. The clamping ring includes a plurality of flanges disposed around an outer periphery of the clamping ring, adjacent flanges of the plurality of flanges being disposed such that a hole of the plurality of holes that is disposed in between the adjacent flanges is about equidistant from the adjacent flanges. The plurality of flanges are configured to mate with the chamber structure. The clamping ring and the flanges are dimensioned such that when the plurality of flanges mate with the chamber structure, recesses between adjacent ones of the plurality of flanges form gaps between the clamping ring and the chamber structure.
Abstract: A radio-based navigation system uses a small multi-mode direction-finding antenna and a direction-finding receiver to determine platform position, velocity, attitude and time while simultaneously providing protection against narrowband and broadband sources of interference. Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals such as those from a Global Positioning System (GPS) provide attitude measurements with a compact multi-mode direction-finding antenna (e.g., a small two-arm spiral with improved angle-of-arrival performance over the entire hemisphere enhanced through use of a conductive vertical extension of the antenna ground plane about the antenna perimeter and/or conductive posts placed evenly around the antenna perimeter) that provides protection against jammers. The multi-mode spiral may be treated as an array of rotationally-symmetric antenna elements.
Abstract: A method of forming an elastomeric sheet adhesive bond between mating surfaces of an electrode and a backing member to accommodate stresses generated during temperature cycling due to mismatch in coefficients of thermal expansion. The elastomeric sheet comprises a thermally conductive silicone adhesive able to withstand a high shear strain of ?300% in a temperature range of room temperature to 300° C. such as heat curable high molecular weight dimethyl silicone with fillers. Installation can be manually, manually with installation tooling, or with automated machinery.

Abstract: Described herein are improved methods for correcting cone beam computed tomography signals to reduce scatter contamination contained therein. Generally, the improved methods involve generating a plurality of two-dimensional projection images of a subject from a three-dimensional multi-detector computed tomography image of the subject. This is followed by subtracting the plurality of two-dimensional projection images from a plurality of two-dimensional cone beam projection images of the subject to produce a plurality of two-dimensional estimated error projections that comprise an estimated error in the plurality of two-dimensional cone beam projection images. The plurality of two-dimensional estimated error projection images are subtracted from the plurality of two-dimensional cone beam projection images to generate a plurality of two-dimensional corrected cone beam projection images.
