A filtration system configured in accordance with one embodiment includes at least a first filter and a second filter arranged in series in an exhaust stream. The first filter is arranged to hold a first active media in the exhaust stream, the second filter is arranged to hold a second active media in the exhaust stream, and the active media is selected to remove one or more contaminants known to be in the exhaust stream.     Abstract: A system and method are provided for phase recovery of a signal received by a receiver having digital equalization. A sample acquisition unit periodically acquires a plurality of I and Q samples of the received signal. The sample acquisition unit includes a delay portion to enable selective mutual comparisons between a current I sample ID0, a first preceding I samples ID1, and a second preceding I sample ID2. A transition detection unit generates at least one transition detect signal responsive to the ID1, ID0, and Q samples. The transition detect signal indicates a logic state transition in the received signal between the ID1 and ID0 samples. A transition filtering unit generates an equalization detect signal indicative of excessive equalizing correction of the received signal at the ID0 sample, and selectively passes in response the transition detect signal as a timing output signal.

The polymer binder retains the radiopaque particles within the lumen. The strut may have side holes through which a therapeutic agent may pass and through which the radiopaque particles are incapable of passing. The polymer binder may be absent or optional. The radiopaque particles can have sizes that prevent them from escaping out of the lumen through the side holes. The radiopaque particles placed within the lumen can improve visualization of the prosthesis during an implantation procedure.

    Abstract: Cell phone calls are automatically call forwarded to an in-vehicle telematics system when a driver using the cell phone is in their vehicle. Presence of the driver may be detected, e.g., by detection of a key in the ignition and presumption that the driver is in the vehicle while the key is in the ignition. The in-vehicle telematics unit signals that its driver is present. A phone number lookup is performed, e.g., by a third party database service associating cell phone number and wireless carrier with a telematics phone number of the drivers vehicle. A call forwarding request is then made between the telematics network to the relevant wireless carrier providing service to the driver's cell phone. The correct wireless carrier network is contacted, and a call forward is established to the telematics system of the driver's vehicle. When the driver leaves the vehicle, the call forwarding is terminated.
