Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to pharmaceutical compositions and combinations comprising an androgen receptor N-terminal domain inhibitor or an inhibitor and a second therapeutically active agent, such as an CDK4/6 inhibitor, a Pin1 inhibitor (inhibitor of peptidyl-prolyl cis/trans isomerases), or an antiandrogen. In particular, the present disclosure relates to pharmaceutical compositions and combinations useful for treatment of various cancers, for example breast cancer and prostate cancer. Further, the present disclosure relates administering an androgen receptor N-terminal domain inhibitor in combination with radiation therapy for treatment of various cancers.

Abstract: The invention provides methods for identifying biomarkers in a patient's microbiota to predict a patient's response to a predetermined diet to promote weight loss and methods of promoting weight loss in the patient by optimizing the patient's diet in accordance with the biomarkers identified in the patient's gut microbiota. The methods of the invention can also be used to manage or maintain weight, i.e., prevent or inhibit weight gain, in a patient who is of normal weight or is overweight or obese.

Abstract: A LUS robotic surgical system is trainable by a surgeon to automatically move a LUS probe in a desired fashion upon command so that the surgeon does not have to do so manually during a minimally invasive surgical procedure. A sequence of 2D ultrasound image slices captured by the LUS probe according to stored instructions are processable into a 3D ultrasound computer model of an anatomic structure, which may be displayed as a 3D or 2D overlay to a camera view or in a PIP as selected by the surgeon or programmed to assist the surgeon in inspecting an anatomic structure for abnormalities. Virtual fixtures are definable so as to assist the surgeon in accurately guiding a tool to a target on the displayed ultrasound image.

Abstract: The invention includes methods and compositions for the treatment and prevention of a disease or condition resulting from dysregulation of USB1 and resulting expression of downstream miRNAs. In one preferred embodiment, the invention may include inhibiting the expression or activity of USB1 resulting in the downregulation of downstream miRNA expression. In alternative embodiments, the invention includes methods and compositions for the treatment and prevention of a disease or condition resulting from dysregulation of miRNAs downstream of USB1, namely through the inhibition of PAPD5 and/or PAPD7, resulting in the upregulation of said downstream miRNA expression.

Abstract: A three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch includes a first polymeric scaffold having a first structure of deposited electrospun fibers extending in a plurality of directions in three dimensions to facilitate cellular migration for a first period of time upon application of the biomedical patch to a tissue, wherein the first period of time is less than twelve months, and a second polymeric scaffold having a second structure of deposited electrospun fibers. The second structure of deposited electrospun fibers includes the plurality of deposited electrospun fibers configured to provide structural reinforcement for a second period of time upon application of the three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch to the tissue wherein the second period of time is less than twelve months. The three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch is sufficiently pliable and resistant to tearing to enable movement of the three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch with the tissue.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus for cylindrical convolutional neural network operation, and an apparatus and method for object recognition and viewpoint estimation using the same. The present disclosure uses a cylindrical convolutional network to recognize objects in the image and to determine the viewpoint, which cylindrical convolutional network performs a convolution operation while sliding the input image in the direction of rotation of the cylindrical kernel and extracts a plurality of view-specific feature vectors according to angular unit intervals, to identify and recognize objects, as well as to determine the viewpoint from which the objects were photographed.

Abstract: A soil-climate intelligent type determination method for rice target yield and nitrogen fertilizer amount includes steps: construct a basic database; obtain historical weather data from the region where the rice planting area is to be determined over the past few years, and obtain real-time GFS weather data of the region in a predicted year; obtain 100 m×100 m grid sampling point soil data and a rice field vector layer of rice planting area to be determined; obtain at least three years of nitrogen fertilizer gradient test data of the rice planting area to be determined, rice variety information and management data of each farmer in each year; obtain accurate weather data of the prediction year; prepare soil data of 100 m×100 m plot-scale; localize genetic parameters of the rice growth model DSSAT; and run the localized DSSAT model to predict the plot-scale target yield and recommend the nitrogen application amount.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of train power supply and operation control, and provides a three-rail power supply control system for an electrical railway train. Power supply rails in the system are divided into a first power supply rail, a second power supply rail, and a third power supply rail, wherein the first power supply rail, the second power supply rail, and a running rail constitute a three-phase AC power supply loop, and the third power supply rail and the running rail constitute a DC power supply loop. An AC-DC-AC variable voltage variable frequency device supplies power to a train traction motor by means of the three-phase AC power supply loop and current collectors. Frequency modulation and voltage regulation power supply is conducted by means of the AC-DC-AC variable voltage variable frequency device on the ground to achieve train driving and operation control.
