Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for conditioning air inside an enclosure. The systems and methods may comprise: (1) a plurality of flow tunnels for passage of a heat-transfer fluid; (2) a thermoelectric cooler in thermal communication with the flow tunnels for thermally conditioning the heat-transfer fluid in the flow tunnels; (3) an air inlet for receiving unconditioned air; (4) a thermal exchange assembly for facilitating thermal exchange between the thermally conditioned heat-transfer fluid and the unconditioned air to result in conditioning of the air; and (5) an air outlet for outputting the conditioned air into the enclosure.

Abstract: An oxygenation and temperature thermal therapy and oxygenation treatment pad with a plurality of air chambers is disclosed for treatment of skin wound tissues. The air chambers are filled and released by a valve assembly that may be separate from or integrated within the blanket. The thermal therapy and oxygenation treatment pad includes a fluid bladder for delivering hot and/or cold therapy to a patient in conjunction with oxygenation. The temperature therapy blanket may also include an air bladder for providing compression. Oxygenation is provided subsequent to initial heating in order to promote oxygen absorption by the wound tissues prior to the cooling thereof which facilitates pulling oxygen into the wound tissues. This Abstract is provided to comply with rules requiring an Abstract that allows a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain subject matter of the technical disclosure.
Abstract: A cooling apparatus for removing heat having a low profile unitary member. The low profile unitary member has an evaporator portion and a condenser portion. The evaporator portion is thermally exposed to a heat generating component. The condenser portion is disposed at an elevated angle with respect to the evaporator portion. A plurality of microtubes are disposed within the first low profile extrusion. The plurality of microtubes have a heat transfer fluid contained therein. A second plurality of low profile extrusion members are mounted as fins on the evaporator section of the low profile unitary member. Heat is transferred from the heat generating component to the heat transfer fluid contained with the microtubes located within the evaporator portion. The heat transfer fluid to which the heat was transferred migrates to the condenser portion of the low profile unitary member by way of the microtubes. The heat transfer fluid is cooled in the condenser portion of the low profile unitary member.

Abstract: A joint therapy system and method is shown for proving thermal therapy and joint stability in dual modes of operation. In some embodiments, a treatment system is shown utilizing an orthopedic support for supporting a joint region and having one or more of temperature control capabilities, compression capabilities, and bracing capabilities that may, for example, be used to reduce recover time, limit edema, and protect joints from improper movement while healing from orthopedic surgeries.
Abstract: A thermal control system of a 3 U height includes various modules for providing temperature control in a rack environment. The modules may be, for example, a power module, user interface module, various different pump assemblies, various different models of fan assemblies, HTAs, and/or a serial communication interfaces.
