Abstract: The invention is a portable swing apparatus having triangular support frame members with a top horizontal bar that provides a rotary axis for a swing assembly that carries a rider. The swing has two bar members extending from the horizontal bar to each side of a foot rest with a counter weight extending in opposition to the foot rest, above the horizontal bar. The rider stands on the foot rest, with feet fastened thereto, and is enclosed in an upper-body safety bracket. A safety belt restraint is also provided. The rider pumps the swing and can safely perform front and back loops in a standing position. The device is adjustable to accommodate various sized riders.

Abstract: A system and method for dispensing tokens in a Point-Of-Sale ("POS") transaction. The system and method include sensing errors in the token-dispensing operation whereby a POS terminal operator can be notified if a token is jammed in the token dispenser or if the token dispenser is empty.

Abstract: A system and method for anonymously establishing telephonic connections includes a plurality of identification tags, a master control telephone calling card, a computer-executable program, a voice synthesizer and a telephone switch. The identification tags are carried by persons, pets or objects and each include unique visible indicia which provide instructions on how a holder or finder of an identification tag can make a toll-free telephone call to a person responsible for the person, pet or object carrying the identification tag. The visible indicia also include a simplified menu of system inputs. The system employs the computer-executable program and the voice synthesizer to interactively prompt a caller to select and enter inputs from the menu shown on the tag.

The gripper-accumulator has two or more gripper-fingers and a fixed support extending radially out of a hub. The gripper-fingers are capable of rotating around the hub from a initially open to a eventually closed position adjacent to the fixed support. At the closed position a piece is gripped between the fixed support and the gripper-finger, or between two adjacently located gripper-fingers. Thus, a single gripper-accumulator is provided that is capable of holding several pieces thereby speeding production.

The holder then is tilted sufficiently to cause a paint distribution device, such as a sphere or spinning top, to travel through the pain and across the surface of the object, leaving paint along the travel path of the paint distribution device.
