  • Publication number: 20100213651
Abstract: A fluid-filled cylindrical vibration-damping device including a rubber elastic body elastically interconnecting an inner shaft member and an intermediate sleeve, having a first pocket and a second pocket closed by an outer tube member thereby defining a pressure receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber respectively. Annular sealing portions are provided at axially opposite ends between the intermediate sleeve and the outer tube member. A circumferential groove extends in a circumferential direction between an axial edge of the second pocket and the annular sealing portion in an axial direction, being closed by the outer tube member to provide an orifice passage. One end of the orifice passage circumferentially opens to the pressure receiving chamber while another end circumferentially opens to the equilibrium chamber such that an axial inside dimension of the second pocket is expanded compared to that of an orifice-passage-formation part at a side of opening of the orifice passage.

  • Patent number: 7780154
Abstract: A fluid-filled type engine mount having a pressure receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber connected together through a first orifice passage, and an intermediate chamber connected to the equilibrium chamber through a second orifice passage. The intermediate chamber is partially defined by a movable film, and the pressure-receiving chamber and the intermediate chamber are situated to either side of the movable film. The movable film is a tabular rubber elastic body, and is imparted with non-linear spring properties in response to elastic deformation in a width direction thereof so that its deformation during input of idling vibration occurs in a low spring properties zone, whereas its deformation during input of vibration of greater amplitude than the idling vibration in a higher frequency range than a resonance frequency of the first orifice passage reaches a high spring properties zone.

  • Patent number: 7756619
Abstract: An active vibration insulator includes an electromagnetic actuator, a controller, and a bad-roads processor. The electromagnetic actuator generates vibrating forces depending on electric-current supplies. The controller carries out vibrating-forces generation control. In the vibrating-forces generation control, the electric-current supplies are made variable so as to actively inhibit vibrations generated by an on-vehicle vibration generating source of a vehicle from transmitting to a specific part of the vehicle based on cyclic pulsating signals output from the on-vehicle vibration generating source. Thus, the controller lets the electromagnetic actuator generate the vibrating forces. The bad-roads processor stops the vibrating-forces generation control effected by the controller when the vehicle travels on bad roads.

  • Patent number: 7706924
Abstract: A vibration controller includes a map controller, an adaptive controller, a set-up frequency judge/switcher, and an actuator. The map controller includes a data map storage for storing data on control signals determined in advance for a vibration insulator, and a signal generator for selecting one of the data, depending on a frequency of a cyclically pulsating signal emitted from a vibration generating source of a vehicle, from the data map storage and generating a control signal. The adaptive controller generates the control signal with respect to the cyclically pulsating signal using an adaptive control method. The set-up frequency judge/switcher switches from the map controller to the adaptive controller or vice versa based on the frequency of the cyclically pulsating signal. The actuator actuates an actuator of the vibration insulator based on the control signal generated by the map controller or the adaptive controller, whereby inhibiting the vehicle from vibrating.

  • Publication number: 20100078934
Abstract: A connector includes a female member, and a checking member. The female member has a housing being provided with paired windows. The checking member is assembled outward with and retained onto the housing from the axially perpendicular direction, and has a letter “C”-shaped portion and paired locker protrusions. The locker protrusions have a first locker, a leading-end contact, and an inclined second locker, respectively. The first lockers inhibit an assembly-line worker or robot from pulling the checking member from out of the housing. The leading-end contacts expand the letter “C”-shaped portion diametrically when a male member is inserted into the female member completely. The inclined second lockers inhibit elastic force, which arises in the letter “C”-shaped portion, from removing the checking member from the housing. The housing further has a fitting dent. The checking member's letter “C”-shaped portion has a fitting protrusion that fits into the fitting dent.
