    Abstract: A capacitive sensor includes a dielectric layer made of an elastomer and a pair of electrodes arranged via the dielectric layer, and detects deformation on the basis of electrostatic capacity variation between the pair of electrodes. The pair of electrodes contain an elastomer and conductive fillers filled into the elastomer, are expandable and contractible in accordance with deformation of the dielectric layer, and exhibit little conductivity variation even when the pair of electrodes expand and contract. At least one of the dielectric layer and the electrodes is formed by a printing method using a dielectric layer coating containing a formation component of the dielectric layer or an electrode coating containing a formation component of the electrode.

    Abstract: A fluid filled vibration damping device including: a main rubber elastic body connecting first and second mounting members; a partition member and a fastening member axially superposed together and secured fitting into the second mounting member. The partition member has a recess on a side of the fastening member, where an annular mounting fitting having a flange portion is inserted with a seal rubber projection disposed on one axial end thereof and projecting axially outward from the flange portion pressed fluid-tightly in an axial direction against the partition member around an entire circumference. An other axial end of the mounting fitting is fastened fluid-tightly onto a mating projection portion formed on the fastening member via a seal rubber layer. A diametrical gap is formed between an inside face of the recess of the partition member and the flange portion of the mounting fitting as well as the seal rubber projection.

A heat-resistant hose having a layer of this acrylic rubber composition as the innermost layer. The above constitution of the invention provides the acrylic rubber composition effective for preventing aluminum fixing while retaining the material properties of acrylic rubber and its excellent characteristics. The present invention also provides a heat-resistant hose using this acrylic rubber composition at the surface which is to be fitted with an aluminum member.

    Abstract: A foamed elastic body having low hardness and excellent flatness and smoothness on the outer circumference, and imparting low hardness to the surface of a conductive roll for an electrophotographic machine, in which coating layers having various functions are coated on the outer circumference. A tube-shaped foamed elastic body 10 has a skin layer 12 and open foamed cells 14a on outer and inner circumferences respectively. The body 10 is prepared by heating and cross-linking an outer circumference of a non-cross-linked and non-foamed tube body with a shaft core inserted therein, and removing the core and heating the tube body under normal pressure. The skin layer thickness is preferably in the range of 10 to 100 ?m. The body 10 defines a base layer 10 of a conductive roll 20, and an outermost layer 24 and an intermediate layer 26 are coated on the outer circumference of the layer 10.
