Abstract: A vibration damping device including a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting a second mounting member and a first mounting member being arranged on axially one side of the second mounting member and a cylindrical outer bracket fit onto the second mounting member. A stopper portion integrally formed with the outer bracket extends radially inwardly to provide a first pressure receiving portion. A bound stopper member that restricts mutually approaching displacement of the two mounting members in the axial direction is constituted by including the first pressure receiving portion. A cylindrical second pressure receiving portion in a dual structure is formed by having the first pressure receiving portion extend axially inwardly and then folded axially outwardly. An axis perpendicular stopper member that restricts relative displacement of the two mounting members in the axis perpendicular direction is constituted by including the second pressure receiving portion.
Abstract: An insulating silicone rubber composition superior in reliability is provided that has excellent antistatic property while being free from bleeding, blooming, and discoloration. The insulating silicone rubber contains silicone rubber, ionic liquid having an alkoxysilyl group, and preferably a crosslinking agent. The content of the ionic liquid is preferably within a range from 0.001 to 5 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the silicone rubber and the crosslinking agent.
Abstract: A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including a partition member having a moveable film and a short passage interconnecting a pressure receiving chamber and an equilibrium chamber. A valve member that switches between a communicating state and a shut off state of the short passage projects from the moveable film. The valve member has a thick walled part and a thin walled part, the thin walled part being pressed on an inner wall surface of the short passage. A pressure of the pressure receiving chamber is applied through the short passage to a pressure receiving chamber side surface of the thick walled part, while an equilibrium chamber side surface thereof is supported by the partition member. The pressure of the pressure receiving chamber is applied to one side of the thin walled part and a pressure of the equilibrium chamber is applied to another side thereof through the short passage.

Abstract: To provide a urethane foam molded product having high thermal conductivity and electric insulation and a method for producing the same. A urethane foam molded product includes a base material made of a polyurethane foam and composite particles that are blended in the base material and oriented in a mutually connected state, in which each of the composite particles includes a thermally conductive particle made of a non-magnetic body, and a magnetic particle and an insulating inorganic particle that are adhered to the surface of the thermally conductive particle through a binder. A powder of the composite particles can be produced by stirring a powder raw material containing a powder of the thermally conductive particle, a powder of the magnetic particle, a powder of the insulating inorganic particle, and the binder using a stirring granulator.

Abstract: A mattress including a plurality of cells aligned and disposed on a body pressure working surface of a substrate that supports a human body; and a pressure control member that changes a height of each cell by adjusting a pressure in a fluid chamber formed within the cell. The cells are configured such that as the each cell is inflated by fluid supplied to the fluid chamber within the cell, the height of the each cell increases and a width dimension of the each cell in a direction of alignment decreases, and that peripheral portions of adjacent cells in the direction of alignment are overlapped with each other prior to cell inflation.

Abstract: A polymer speaker is configured to include an electrostrictive element having an elastomer or resin dielectric layer and a plurality of electrode layers arranged on the front and back surfaces of the dielectric layer. The electrode layers are formed from a conductive material including a polymer binder and a conductor and having a modulus of elasticity of 100 MPa or less. The spring constant of the electrode layers in the surface direction is smaller than the spring constant of the dielectric layer in the surface direction. The volume resistivity of the electrode layers is 200 ?·cm or less. The polymer speaker provides a practical sound pressure in a wide frequency region from low frequencies to high frequencies.
Abstract: A dielectric film of the present invention includes an elastomer and barium titanate particles with a crystallinity of 80% or more. The elastomer and each of the barium titanate particles each have a functional group, the functional groups can react with each other, and through the reaction of the functional groups, a cross-linked structure with the elastomer and the barium titanate particles is formed. With this structure, the dielectric constant and volume resistivity of the dielectric film of the present invention are high. A transducer of the present invention includes the dielectric film and a plurality of electrodes with the dielectric film interposed therebetween. The transducer of the present invention is excellent in resistance to dielectric breakdown and can output a large force.

Abstract: Provided is an active noise cancellation apparatus capable of reliably reducing road noise by a technique other than mounting a vibration generator on a floor panel itself or another plate-like interior part itself, while reducing costs and size of the apparatus. A reference signal detector is mounted on a knuckle and the vibration generator is mounted on a wheel housing or a suspension member. An error signal detector detects vibration of the wheel housing or vibration of the suspension member as an error signal, or detects sound in a vehicle interior as an error signal. A controller controls the vibration generator based on the reference signal and the error signal so as to reduce the error signal.
