  • Patent number: 4800388
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring pulse compression ratio which receives a pulse compression radar signal that has been phase-modulated by a two-phase code. The apparatus comprises a means for detecting a function of the number of times of phase inversion existing in the received pulse compression radar signal to obtain the pulse compression ratio corresponding to the function of the number of times of phase inversion.

  • Patent number: 4724372
Abstract: The driving speed of a hydraulic actuator is feedback controlled by adjusting an amount of fluid by a digital valve having a valve which is opened and closed by a pulse motor. For speed control, the deviation between a set speed of the actuator which is set by a speed setting device and a detection speed of the actuator which is detected by a speed sensor is obtained. A pulse signal of a frequency proportional to the magnitude of the deviation is generated. When the deviation is positive, the pulse motor is driven using the pulse signal as a CW command pulse. When the deviation is negative, the pulse motor is driven using the pulse signal as a CCW command pulse. The rotational amount of the pulse motor is the integral of the pulse frequency which is proportional to the deviation.

  • Patent number: 4703244
Abstract: A frequency divided pulse is produced by frequency dividing a clock signal by speed instruction data. When the current position of the pulse motor has not yet reached a set desired position, a frequency divided pulse is outputted as a forward rotation control pulse. When the current position has exceeded said set position, a frequency divided pulse is outputted as a reverse rotation control pulse. If the set desired position is changed while the pulse motor is rotating, this change of setting is detected and the output of the frequency divided pulse is inhibited for a predetermined settling period of time, thereby stopping the pulse motor. After the vibration of the rotor which occurs during the stepping of the pulse motor is settled, the reverse rotation of the pulse motor can be started, thereby preventing the occurrence of the step-out phenomenon of the pulse motor upon reverse rotation.

  • Patent number: 4691659
Abstract: The rotation angles around the X and Y axes due to the operation of a joystick lever having degrees of freedom of three axes are respectively detected by two rotation angle detectors. A push button switch is provided at the edge of the joystick lever. When the push button switch is not operated, the operating direction and operation amount of the joystick lever are calculated on the basis of the outputs of two rotation angle detectors. When the push button switch was operated, the operating direction and operation amount of the joystick lever are calculated from the output of either one of two rotation angle detectors.

  • Patent number: 4663630
Abstract: A PPI radar apparatus is constructed such that even when a transmission time cycle of radio waves is varied by switchover of a distance range to any of short, middle and long distance ranges, a sweep display time cycle of a radar video signal received in any of the distance ranges is maintained constant at all times; the sweep display time cycle is determined to meet the middle distance ranges, in the short distance ranges in which the reception time of radio waves is short, the video signals are written in storage means in real-time and then displayed by readout of the video signals at a low speed in synchronism with the sweep time cycle, in the long distance ranges in which the reception time of radio waves is long, the video signals are written in storage means in real-time and then displayed by a number of readouts in one sweep display time cycle; and the video signals written in a plurality of storage means are parallelly read out and a mean value or peak of the read-out video signals is obtained by arit

  • Patent number: 4626758
Abstract: A digital valve control apparatus for regulating opening of a digital valve by a pulse motor, comprising means for setting desired position and displacement speed of the pulse motor and means for selecting the set position and the set speed in response to instruction signals. While pulses having period corresponding to the set speed are produced by a frequency divider, the present position of the pulse motor is compared with the set position by a comparator. The pulses are fed to a counter which counts up or down to supply the output for driving the pulse motor until the comparator produces the coincident output.

  • Patent number: 4620137
Abstract: A sweep termination generating circuit adopts an octagon boundary for sweep termination which is set by combining a plurality of comparators so as to be circumscribed about the display screen of a circular CRT. When the sweep position is deviated from the center of the display screen for the purpose of displaying a radar image by PPI sweep, the circuit allows the comparators to detect that a scanning signal for scanning an electron beam from the off-center sweep position has reached the boundary for sweep termination and thereby generates a sweep termination signal.

  • Patent number: 4596987
Abstract: A PPI display apparatus allows a radar image or bearing marker to be displayed on a circular CRT screen through sweeping on the basis of a plan position indicator system. In the apparatus, the generation of a radar antenna angle signal, generation of a bearing angle signal representing the angle of a bearing cursor, generation of an antenna angle signal corrected by adding a deflection angle to the antenna angle, and generation of sine and cosine signals corresponding to the antenna angle or bearing angle are all carried out through digital processing.

  • Patent number: 4528491
Abstract: Displacement table data, which consist of pulse number data for N individual displacement divisions which altogether constitute a given rotational displacement of a pulse motor, are stored in a memory so that the sum of pulse numbers stored in the individual divisions may be equal to a given pulse number corresponding to the displacement of the pulse motor. Pulse period table data, which consist of pulse period data for determining the speed of the pulse motor for divisions corresponding in number to the number of divisions of the displacement table data, are stored in another memory. The pulse motor control is effected by causing generation of pulses corresponding in number to the pulse number data for the individual displacement divisions of the displacement table and having pulse periods for the individual divisions of pulse period table, and by executing the generation of pulses for the successive divisions.

  • Patent number: 4514152
Abstract: A power steering apparatus comprises a housing, a gerotor mechanism having a rotor and a stator, and a rotary valve mechanism constituted by a rotary spool disposed within the central interior of the housing and connected to the rotor of the gerotor mechanism and a rotary sleeve freely rotatably attached to the outside of the rotary spool so as to allow insertion of the rotary spool thereinto. Rotation of the sleeve relative to the spool due to a steering operation switches over the flow paths for pressurized liquid to the gerotor mechanism to thereby rotate the rotor of the gerotor mechanism in the direction corresponding to the steering operation. The pressurized liquid in an amount proportional to the degree of the steering operation is supplied from the liquid chambers of the gerotor mechanism contracted by the rotation of the rotor to actuators of a steering mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4265173
Abstract: There is disclosed a numbering machine designed so that code numbers as well as check digits each consisting of a single-place digit are printed by means of a mechanical mechanism. The check digits are printed by a check digit type wheel having an arrangement of circulating digits which are calculated in correspondance with code numbers in accordance with a modulus 10 or 11 check with predetermined weights. When there is a carry from one code number digit place to the next higher digit place, it is necessary to print the digit skipped a predetermined number of the digits in the circulating digit arrangement, and as a result a drive control mechanism is provided so that when a change from one code number to the next higher code number necessitates a skipping operation, the change is detected and the check digit type wheel is rotated idly through a predetermined angle.
