Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, a liquid circulation apparatus comprises a liquid chamber configured to hold liquid which is to be supplied to a liquid ejection section ejecting liquid, a circulation section configured to circulate the liquid between the liquid chamber and the liquid ejection section, a liquid replenishment section configured to replenish liquid to the liquid chamber, a gas replenishment section configured to replenish gas to the liquid chamber, a pressure detection section configured to detect pressure of the liquid chamber, and a control section configured to adjust pressure of the liquid ejection section by replenishing the liquid to the liquid chamber with the liquid replenishment section and replenishing the gas to the liquid chamber with the gas replenishment section.
Abstract: A liquid discharge head includes a head, a liquid supply conduit, a liquid discharge conduit, a radiator, first and second wiring boards, and a heat conductive member. Liquid is supplied to the head for discharge through the liquid supply conduit. Liquid that passes through the head flows to the liquid discharge conduit. The radiator includes a flow path through which a coolant flows. The coolant is different from the liquid supplied to the head for discharge. The first wiring board is between the head and the radiator and has a connector connected to a wiring extending through an inner space of the radiator. The second wiring board is between the head main body and the first wiring board, and includes, thereon, a driving control element. The heat conductive member extends between the head and the radiator, and is in thermal contact with the radiator.

The processor is configured to count a number of times the first toner sensor switches from a non-detection state to a detection state subsequent to the second toner sensor switching from a detection state to a non-detection state, and then output a notification indicating a residual amount of toner in the toner cartridge based on the counted number.
Abstract: A reading device includes display and an image capturing device to image objects on a checkout counter. A control unit receives a first image including at least one object on the checkout counter, extracts a first object that is closest to the image capturing device in the first image, then displays an image of the first object and a frame around the first object. Generic object recognition is performed on the first object. A second image is received from the image capturing device. The control unit determines whether the first object is still closest to the image capturing device. A second object is extracted from the second image if the first object is no longer closest to the image capturing device and the second object is the one closest to the image capturing device in the second image.

Abstract: A counterbalance dampener disposed between a printer chassis and the automatic duplexer unit includes a pair of support links pivotably connected at distal ends to the chassis and the automatic duplexer unit. A pinion disposed at the distal end of the support link connected to the automatic duplexer unit rotates when the automatic duplexer unit descends into an open configuration. The pinion is in communication with a rack that translates linearly to compress a spring which provides a countering force to slow the descent of the automatic duplexer unit.
