Abstract: To model hydrocarbon reservoirs more accurately, models of a geological volume using a three dimensional grid of cells populated with data from seismic studies are augmented by providing fine-grained stochastic models of the distribution of relays in fault zones and modelling the flow of hydrocarbons taking account the modelled relays.

Abstract: The invention is a fluid having a kinematic viscosity from 3 to 6 mm2/s, a flash point of higher than 120° C. and a pour point lower than ?40° C., having a boiling point in the range of from 200° C. to 400° C. and a boiling range below 80° C., said fluid comprising more than 95% isoparaffins and less than 3% of naphthens by weight, a biocarbon content of at least 95% by weight, containing less than 100 ppm aromatics by weight. Abstract: An innovative oxyhydrogen (HHO) burner system including one or more burner systems is provided to eliminate emissions through total combustion. Each burner system includes at least one HHO gas supply and an external natural gas supply, both of which are connected to a gas mixer. A controller regulates the amounts of incoming HHO gas and the natural gas through being mixed. The mixed gas is supplied to each burner assembly with a predetermined pressure and flowrate to generate a flame for the total combustion of the exhaust stream inside the exhaust pipe. With feedback from an exhaust measuring system inside the exhaust pipe adjacent the outlet, the controller can adjust the burner system for optimal operations and achieve total combustion. Thus, by passing the exhaust or gases through a substantial cross-section covered by each flame, emissions can be greatly reduced or eliminated.

Abstract: A subsoil region is represented using a grid having columns of cells arranged in an array of horizontal positions. The cells of a column are delineated by geological layering of the subsoil region. The method, used for estimating elastic parameters in the subsoil region, comprises obtaining seismic traces and performing seismic inversion for the columns of cells. The seismic inversion for a column comprises selecting a set of elastic parameter values that minimizes a cost function regardless of statistical distribution of the elastic parameter values. The set of elastic parameter values is selected among a plurality of candidate sets of elastic parameter values each having values of elastic parameters for the cells of the column.

Abstract: Described herein are methods of fabricating solar cells. In an example, a method of fabricating a solar cell includes forming an amorphous dielectric layer on the back surface of a substrate opposite a light-receiving surface of the substrate. The method also includes forming a microcrystalline silicon layer on the amorphous dielectric layer by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). The method also includes forming an amorphous silicon layer on the microcrystalline silicon layer by PECVD. The method also includes annealing the microcrystalline silicon layer and the amorphous silicon layer to form a homogeneous polycrystalline silicon layer from the microcrystalline silicon layer and the amorphous silicon layer. The method also includes forming an emitter region from the homogeneous polycrystalline silicon layer.
