Abstract: A process for purifying an olefinic feedstock containing olefins with 4 carbon atoms and impurities including isobutanal, ethanol and acetone, the process including a pre-treatment containing at least one step of eliminating the ethanol and the water present in the olefinic feedstock and a step of simultaneously eliminating the isobutanal and the acetone, by passing the feedstock from the pre-treatment over at least one fixed bed of at least one adsorbent containing at least one material with a zeolite framework, the material with a zeolite framework being chosen from zeolites, AIPOs, SAPOs and mixtures thereof; the step of simultaneously eliminating the isobutanal and the acetone being carried out at a temperature of between 0 and 200° C., at a pressure of 0.1 to 10 MPa and with an hourly space velocity of the feedstock over the fixed bed of 0.1 to 10 h?1.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the use of a switch for the production of heterologous non-catabolic compounds in microbial host cells. In one aspect, provided herein are genetically modified microorganisms that produce non-catabolic compounds more stably when serially cultured under aerobic conditions followed by microaerobic conditions, and methods of producing non-catabolic compounds by culturing the genetically modified microbes under such culture conditions. In another aspect, provided herein are genetically modified microorganisms that produce non-catabolic compounds more stably when serially cultured in the presence of maltose followed by the reduction or absence of maltose, and methods of producing non-catabolic compounds by culturing the genetically modified microbes under such culture conditions.
Abstract: A process for dearomatization of a petroleum cut produces a dearomatized hydrocarbon-containing fluid with a sulphur content less than or equal to 5 ppm and a content of aromatic compounds less than or equal to 300 ppm, the hydrocarbon-containing fluid has a boiling point between 100 and 400° C. according to the standard ASTM D-86 and a distillation range defined by the difference between the Initial Boiling Point (IBP) and the Final Boiling Point (FBP) determined by the standard ASTM D-86 not exceeding 80° C. The process includes at least one dearomatization cycle utilizing a mixture of the petroleum cut with one or more inert and light diluents having a distillation range not exceeding 80° C.
