    Abstract: An automobile headlight lighting apparatus which has a light unit, including a headlight lamp, adapted to be selectively concealed and exposed relative to a light chamber, and further has a light switch for energizing the headlight lamp with electric power supplied thereto. The apparatus further has a drive unit operable to cause the light unit to be selectively concealed and exposed. The drive unit is operated in response to the switching on of the light switch. For enabling the drive unit to be operated independently of the light switch, an additional electric circuit is provided for operating the drive unit to cause the light unit to be selectively concealed and exposed.

    Abstract: A wheel suspension for a motor vehicle having a vehicle chassis includes a wheel carrier having an axle for the support of a wheel for rotation independently of the wheel carrier, and front and rear arms for supporting the wheel carrier on the vehicle chassis and extending in spaced relation to each other with the space therebetween gradually increasing as they extend outwardly from the wheel carrier towards the vehicle chassis in a direction generally transversely of the vehicle chassis. The wheel suspension further includes a connecting member for elastically connecting the wheel carrier to the vehicle chassis for displacement in a direction generally perpendicular to the widthwise direction of the vehicle chassis, and a shock absorber for absorbing vibrations of the wheel carrier. The front and rear arms are so positioned relative to the wheel carrier and the vehicle chassis that the wheel carrier can be moved such that the toe-in of the wheel supported thereby is increased.

    Abstract: A lock remote control device comprises a lock assembly and a manipulatable unit positioned spaced a distance from the lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a latch lever for selectively locking and unlocking a movable structural element, a first biasing spring for bringing the latch lever in position to lock the movable structural element. The manipulatable unit includes a movable member connected through a latch cable to the latch lever and movable between projected and retracted position, and an actuator operable to permit the movable member to move from the retracted position towards the projected position to bringing the latch lever against the first biasing spring in position to unlock the movable structural element when an external pushing force is applied thereto, but to block the movement of the movable member in the retracted position during the absence of the external pushing force. This movable member is normally biased to assume the projected position by a second biasing spring.
