Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a device configured to implement a SIM lock to control network access associated with a wireless device. The device including a processor configured to interrogate a host wireless device and obtain a host wireless device identification from the host wireless device. The processor further configured to retrieve from a memory a stored wireless device identification, determine if a host wireless device identification matches the stored wireless device identification, prevent access of the host wireless device to network wireless services if the host wireless device identification does not match the stored wireless device identification, and enable access of the host wireless device to network wireless services if the host wireless device identification matches the stored wireless device identification. An associated process is also disclosed.

Abstract: A system configured to analyze cellular connectivity information for at least one wireless network and at least one wireless device includes a processor configured to receive cellular connectivity information from at least one wireless network for at least one wireless device; the processor further configured to receive geographic location information from the at least one wireless network for the at least one wireless device. The system also includes a database configured to store the cellular connectivity information, the geographic location information, and equipment type information related to the at least one wireless device. The processor further configured to analyze the cellular connectivity information and determine a wireless device having poor wireless service performance based on the analysis of the cellular connectivity information. The disclosure additionally includes a process to analyze cellular connectivity information for at least one wireless network and at least one wireless device.

Abstract: A method for configuring access point network settings using a data connection setting application operating on a wireless device is disclosed. The data connection setting application is operable to accesses settings configuration and data from a memory and/or a SIM card, and compare it with wireless network requirements to determine whether the settings need to be reconfigured. Based on the determination, the data connection setting application can enable the display of instructions to a user and provide tools to fill in information required to reconfigure the wireless device according to wireless network requirements for the specific wireless device.

Abstract: A device configured to implement multiple locks to increase security of assets associated with the device including an embedded system, a multi-lock mechanism configured to provide a plurality of locks to prevent an authorized access to the assets associated with the embedded system, each of the plurality of locks of the multi-lock mechanism having an different unlock parameters, a memory configured to securely store at least one of the lock parameters of the plurality of locks of the multi-lock mechanism, the memory further configured to securely store at least one of the unlock parameters of the multi-lock mechanism, and the embedded system further configured to provide access to the assets after each of the lock parameters of the plurality of locks of the multi-lock mechanism is provided the unlock parameters of the multi-lock mechanism.

Abstract: A wireless device configured to temporarily unlock includes a processor configured to execute an unlocking application and a lock mechanism. The processor implementing the unlocking application to control the lock mechanism to unlock based on one of the following: the location provided by a location determination device or based on a time and date provided from the transceiver and/or the processor. A process to temporarily unlock a wireless device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A wireless network system configured to secure a wireless service provided to at least one wireless device from a wireless network, the wireless network system includes a secure network server implemented in at least one of a network operator cloud and a mobile network operator implementing the wireless network. The secure network server being configured to implement at least one of the following: a unique Access Point Name (APN), an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) whitelist, a virtual private network (VPN) over encrypted network, a dedicated firewall, a whitelist of IP addresses, and a unique SIM.

Abstract: A method and system for the purchase and activation of services on a wireless device are provided. The method and system include the use of an airtime card with a near field communication tag with a unique identifier code used to improve a user's experience and ease of activation/provisioning of services for the wireless device. In some aspects, the unique identifier may be generated during the activation and purchase of the wireless service and it is not required that the unique identifier code be recorded in a backend system of the wireless provider prior to activation. The services to be purchased and activated may include at least one of the following: out of the box activation, device upgrades, device reactivations, wireless number changes, wireless number porting, and the addition or purchasing of services including airtime, data, and/or SMS enrollments or data content.
