  • Patent number: 6981704
Abstract: A longitudinally-endless gasket mounted into a groove portion formed in one of members to provide sealing between this one member and another of the members when they are fastened to each other. The gasket has a sectional shape corresponding to a sectional shape of the groove portion with a ratio (H/W) between a height (H) and a width (W) of the sectional shape being 0.8 to 5.0. The gasket is provided with a plurality of large projecting portions at intervals of 30 to 100 mm and a plurality of small projecting portions at intervals of 5 to 15 mm in a longitudinal direction of the gasket. A width (R2) of each large projecting portion is larger than a width (X) of the groove portion by 0.01 to 0.9 mm. A width (R1) of each small projecting portion is smaller than the width (X) of the groove portion by 0.01 to 0.6 mm. A filling rate of the groove portion by the gasket when the members are fastened to each other is 80 to 100%.

  • Publication number: 20050093245
Abstract: A pulser ring and a second seal ring are separately formed. When a multipolar magnetic rotor of the pulser ring is bonded to an outer circumferential face of an outer cylindrical portion of an annular core portion, the multipolar magnetic rotor is opposed to a magnetic sensor in the radial direction. Due to the above structure, the multipolar magnetic rotor can be strongly supported by an outer cylindrical portion of the annular core portion. Therefore, even when a rotary centrifugal force is given to the multipolar magnetic rotor, it can not be swung in the radial direction. Accordingly, an interval of the multipolar magnetic rotor and the magnetic sensor in the radial direction, which are opposed to each other, can be maintained constant irrespective of an intensity of the centrifugal force.

  • Patent number: 6814356
Abstract: A mount construction for a bearing seal is capable of easily and surely installing the bearing seal in a bearing and, after installation, developing a stable seal performance by suppressing an extracting force. The bearing seal, formed by disposing an elastic member having a lip part on one side face of a reinforcement ring, is press-fitted into a ring body or radially reduced ring body in a state where the lip part is bent in a direction away from the outer peripheral edge of the reinforcement ring on the elastic member side of the bearing seal. While maintaining this state, the bearing seal is extruded from the inside of the ring body or the radially reduce ring into the bearing with care so that the lip part is not caught between the reinforcement ring and the bearing is installed on the bearing.

  • Patent number: 6602571
Abstract: An unvulcanized raw rubber is provided, to which magnetic ferrite powder is added. A resulting mixture composed of the unvulcanized raw rubber and magnetic ferrite powder is passed through a rolling machine or an extruding machine such that the mixture is formed into a sheet blank that contains the magnetic ferrite powder aligned regularly in a particular orientation. Alternatively, the resulting mixture may be first passed through an extruding machine and then through a rolling machine. The sheet blank is then stamped across a planar direction such that a ring-like sheet is formed. The ring-like sheet, along with a supplemental ring, is placed inside a metal mold, where the ring-like sheet and supplemental ring are compressed in an axial direction, while applying heat thereto, so that the ring-like sheet is vulcanized and joined to the supplemental ring. Finally, the vulcanized ring-like sheet is magnetized so that S poles and N poles appear alternately around its circumference.
