Abstract: An aqueous liquid laundry detergent composition comprising an alkoxylated carboxylic acid surfcatant and a free radical scavenger in the mole ratio of from about 500:1 to about 20:1. The composition substantially prevents the degradation of the alkoxylated ester surfactant upon storage and is also color-stable.
Abstract: The invention relates to a synergistic detergent composition capable of reducing oiliness or greasiness of the skin and also reduce post wash re-accumulation of sebum on the skin. It is particularly preferred to formulate the composition as a wash off product by incorporating a clay belonging to the hormite group of the 2:1 type of clay minerals, and having an inverted ribbon configuration.

Abstract: A fabric care article made of solid or semi-solid matrix of materials for repetitive or multiple use in a machine drying apparatus such as a tumble dryer. The matrix includes a structuring agent comprising a filler structuring agent and a polymeric structuring agent. The filler structuring agent comprises about 0.2 % to about 10% and the polymeric structuring agent comprises about 0.5 to about 20% by weight of the composition. The matrix further includes up to about 25% of an anionic soap surfactant, about 10% to about 60% of free fatty acid, and about 1% to about 50% of a non-ionic, but is substantially free from cationic surfactant. When the fabric care article is used up, it simply disappears, indicating to a user that the article needs to be replenished.

Abstract: Compositions used for cleansing hair and skin based on the combination of a sulfosuccinate surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant are described that are very mild but do not compromise in-use properties and economy. A route to solve the intrinsic instability of such aqueous compositions in storage has been developed based on the use of sulfosuccinic acid or a salt of sulfosuccinic acid present in an amount of at least about 4% based on the weight of the sulfosuccinate surfactant.
