  • Patent number: 6956180
Abstract: A watertight key unit includes a key and an elastic sealing part. The key is mounted on a key-mounting wall, extends through a key-inserting hole in the key-mounting wall, and has a peripheral wall. The sealing part extends from a lower end of the peripheral wall of the key, has a peripheral wall that surrounds the peripheral wall of the key, and cooperates with the peripheral wall of the key to define a spacing groove therebetween. The peripheral wall of the sealing part is surrounded by and abuts elastically and sealingly against a hole-defining wall of the key-inserting hole.

  • Patent number: 6559624
Abstract: In a voltage converter, a voltage-controlled switching device of a power stage receives a control signal and operates accordingly at a switch-ON mode, where the control signal is a high-level signal, and a switch-OFF mode, where the control signal is a low-level signal. A comparator compares a trigger signal and an input signal associated with an output signal outputted by the power stage, and outputs the control signal, wherein the control signal is the high-level signal when the trigger signal is greater than the input signal, and wherein the control signal is the low-level signal when the trigger signal is less than the input signal. A trigger circuit receives a reference voltage and the control signal, and supplies the trigger signal to enable the comparator to output a periodic pulse signal that serves as the control signal such that the voltage-controlled switch device is activated periodically.

  • Publication number: 20020125846
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for controlling current limit of a motor of an electric-powered vehicle, the current limit of the motor is initially set to a smaller first value during start-up operation of the vehicle. Thereafter, in response to operation of a twist-grip throttle of the vehicle to commence accelerating operation of the vehicle subsequent to the start-up operation, the current limit of the motor is increased from the smaller first value to a larger second value larger than the smaller first value in accordance with angular rotation of the twist-grip throttle from an initial position. When the current limit reaches the larger second value, the current limit of the motor is then maintained at the larger second value in case of further operation of the twist-grip throttle from the initial position.

  • Patent number: 6320339
Abstract: A control device for controlling current to a motor includes a current sensor connected to a power module for generating an electric signal corresponding to magnitude of the current to the motor, and a processor connected to first and second current detecting circuits, which are connected to the current sensor and the power module. The first current detecting circuit determines whether the current to the motor is larger than a first predetermined value, and generates a first flag signal provided to the power module. The second current detecting circuit determines whether the current to the motor is larger than a second predetermined value, which is larger than the first predetermined value, and generates a second flag signal provided to the power module. The power module inhibits connection between the motor and a power supply unit upon receiving either one of the first and second flag signals.
