The method providing a first solution comprising HEMA, PEGDA, and a photoinitiator, forming a support structure on a planar print bed of the additive manufacturing apparatus by depositing a first plurality of layers of the first solution and curing the first plurality of layers, and forming an ophthalmic contact lens on the support structure by depositing a second plurality of layers of the first solution and curing the second plurality of layers. The second plurality of layers are arranged such that a disc of the ophthalmic contact lens is oriented generally perpendicular to the planar print bed of the additive manufacturing apparatus.

    Abstract: A nonlinear optical device includes two coupling systems. A coupling coefficient between the two coupling systems is regulated and controlled. During operation, the pump light input from a straight waveguide is coupled into the second coupling system through the first coupling system and obtains great resonance enhancement in the second coupling system, so it is ensured that the second coupling system is in a high energy state. For signal light input from the same end of the straight waveguide, the signal light enters a resonator of the second coupling system through the coupling between the first and second coupling systems. A nonlinear effect of the system mainly occurs in the resonator of the second coupling system because in the resonator of the second coupling system, the pump light is in a great resonance enhancement. The entire resonator is in a high energy state.

    Abstract: A method of fault detection in synchronous machines includes using at least one sensor to determine parameters linked to the magnetic field generated within the synchronous machine including parameters based on one or more of magnetic field strength, rotor current or voltage, stator current or voltage, and vibration. The sensor measurements are processed to identify data artefacts linked to the magnetic field, wherein the processing includes one or more signal processing techniques based on time, frequency, and both time and frequency. Subsequently, the output of the signal processing is analysed in order to identify and categorise irregularities in the magnetic field that are indicative of a fault in the synchronous machine. The analysing step includes recognising patterns in the processed sensor measurements, via use of computer aided pattern recognition techniques such as via machine learning algorithms.

    Abstract: The method of the present invention specifically comprising following steps: adding a chitosan to an acetic acid solution, heating and stirring until clear, to obtain an acidic chitosan solution; then adding a palm wax and heating a resulting mixture to 80-100° C. with a constant temperature and a high-speed stirring for emulsification for 5-15 minutes; after the emulsification is completed, an obtained emulsion is quickly cooled to a room temperature. The present invention uses a single-layer coating method to prepare waterproof and oil-proof food cardboard, simplifying operation and achieving good waterproof, oil-proof, and antibacterial effects with a lower coating amount, thereby reducing production costs. When a coating amount is 5-10 g/m2, a Cobb60 value can reach 5-9 g/m2, an oil resistance level can reach 11-12 levels, a water contact angle can reach over 130°, and an antibacterial rate can reach over 90%.

    Abstract: A high-speed and large-current adjustable pulse circuit, an operating circuit and an operating method of a phase-change memory are provided. The high-speed and large-current adjustable pulse circuit is provided with a clamping structure, a current mirror structure and a leakage current shutdown structure. The clamping structure including a clamping operational amplifier and a first MOS transistor is configured to generate a reference current. The current mirror structure is configured to generate an output current proportional to the reference current. The leakage current shutdown structure is configured to turn off the current mirror structure and reduce leakage current when pulse disappear. In this way, a device with an adjustable current and a reduced leakage current is realized.

The first flame retardant injection channel includes a horizontal section along a strike of the coal seam and a bypass section offset toward the gasifier. The flame retardant injection system forms a wet coal wall in the coal seam to achieve pre-control for the gasifier. The pre-control structure wets the coal masses at both sides of the gasifier and the gasifier does not spread toward both sides.

    Abstract: A method for a selective detection of L-tryptophan (L-Trp) using formaldehyde as a medium is disclosed. The method includes preparation of a copper sulfide nanosheets-chitosan/acidified functionalized multi-wall carbon nanotubes (CuS NS—CS/F-MWCNTs) composite material, preparation of a composite film-modified electrode CuS NS—CS/F-MWCNTs/GCE, and a detection of the L-Trp. Since oxidation peaks of L-Trp and L-tyrosine (L-Tyr) overlap and are difficult to separate, the present invention provides a method for a highly selective detection of L-Trp through the Pictet-Spengler reaction of formaldehyde (HCHO) with L-Trp, in which the oxidation peak potential of L-Trp is shifted to 0.82 V and the oxidation peak potential of L-Tyr is 0.63 V, thereby effectively avoiding the interference of L-Tyr. The CuS NS—CS/F-MWCNTs/GCE is applied to detect L-Trp in the formaldehyde medium without any interference from L-Tyr or other amino acids with 50-fold concentrations.
