    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a novel therapeutic or preventive agent for human T cell leukemia virus type-1 associated myelopathy (HAM) containing an anti-human CC-chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4) antibody or an antibody fragment thereof as an active ingredient, and characterized by the administration and dosage of the antibody or the antibody fragment thereof.
