Abstract: The invention discloses a perovskite solar cell and a method of fabrication thereof. The perovskite solar cell sequentially comprises a transparent electrode, a mesoporous P-I-N framework and a counter electrode from the bottom to top; the mesoporous P-I-N framework is composed of an n-type semiconductor layer, an insulating layer, and a p-type semiconductor layer in a sequentially stacked mode, and the n-type semiconductor layer, the insulating layer and the p-type semiconductor layer all comprise mesopores filled with a perovskite material. The preparation method sequentially includes preparing the mesoporous P-I-N framework on a transparent conductive substrate through a spin-coating method or a screen printing method, filling with the perovskite material and preparing the counter electrode layer.

Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for enhancing dentin production, and for delivering a lipophilic agent to pulp tissue of a tooth of an individual. In some cases, a subject method includes a step of administering to the pulp of a tooth of an individual, a Wnt stimulating composition that includes a Wnt stimulator agent, at a dose sufficient to enhance the production of dentin by the pulp. In some cases, a subject method includes a step of contacting exposed dentin of a tooth with a composition that includes a lipophilic agent inserted in the non-aqueous phase of a lipid structure (e.g., whereby the lipophilic agent penetrates the dentin to the underlying pulp tissue). Kits are also provided for practicing the methods of the disclosure.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for operating a memory cell formed from the plurality of coupled Josephson junctions. The memory cell is configured such that applying an electrical signal to the junctions can cause at least one, but not all, of the junctions to change their respective phase states. Subsequent writes to the memory cell using substantially the same electrical pulse do not change the phase state of the plurality of junctions. The memory cell can be ready by providing another electrical pulse to one of the junctions and receiving an output electrical pulse generated in response by a different Josephson junction of the memory cell. A set of phase states are selected to represent the logic values that are stable across anticipated operating conditions for the memory cell. Methods of selecting electrical parameters and manufacturing memory cells are further disclosed.

Abstract: A metastable true random number generator realized on an FPGA comprises a configurable delay chain including rough adjustment module and a fine adjustment module. The rough adjustment module comprises 32 rough adjustment cells each including a 1st 6-input lookup table and a two-to-one selector. The 1st input port of each 1st 6-input lookup table is connected to the 1st input terminal of the corresponding two-to-one selector, and the connecting terminal is the input terminal of the corresponding rough adjustment cell. The 2nd input port, the 3rd input port, the 4th input port, the 5th input port and the 6th input port of each 1st 6-input lookup table are all accessed to a low level 0. The output port of each 1st 6-input lookup table is connected to the 2nd input terminal of the corresponding two-to-one selector.
Abstract: A system and method for patient-adaptive hemodynamic management is described. One embodiment includes a system for hemodynamic management including transfusion, volume resuscitation with intravenous fluids, and medications, utilizing monitored hemodynamic parameters including the described dynamic predictors of fluid responsiveness, and including an intelligent algorithm capable of adaptation of the function of the device to specific patients.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a P-N junction in a semiconductor structure, e.g. silicon (Si) structure, is presented. The method may include several implantation steps performed at a single implantation angle with respect to the Si structure. In a first implantation step, a first dopant species is implanted over a first portion of the Si structure including a first edge of the Si structure. In a second implantation step, a second dopant species is implanted over a second portion of the Si structure including a second edge of the Si structure opposed to the first edge but excluding the first edge. Abstract: Systems and methods may utilize a two-axis stand configured with a locator moveable along two orthogonally oriented axes. The locator may scan a tube opening. A controller may position the locator and the two-axis stand to a) scan across a plurality of tube openings, b) locate the plurality of tube openings based on the scan, and c) activate a cleaning tool to clean tube interiors associated with respective tube openings. Control may be automated and/or based on user interaction with a user interface.

Abstract: A system and method for increasing the capacity of a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) system at desired user's locations and reducing the capacity at locations, other than that of the desired user, while also providing secrecy. Knowing the channel coefficient between each transmitter and receiver antenna pair at the transmitter, the method of the present invention calculates the artificial signal that minimizes the Euclidean distance between the desired and received data symbols if the precoding/combining matrix pair from the set that has the minimum Euclidean distance to the singular value decomposition (SVD) of the channel matrix is used for transmission and reception. The artificial signal may be fed to the precoder, instead of the actual desired data symbols, or may be transmitted directly to reduce computational complexity, power consumption and processing delay if the hardware configuration allows.
