  • Patent number: 12098446
Abstract: A corrosion-resistant nickel alloy is provided. The alloy includes the following components in percentage by mass: 4.68-5.35% of B, 5.69-6.41% of W, 27.68-28.39% of Cr, 12.65-13.42% of Al, and the balance of Ni and inevitable impurities. The corrosion-resistant nickel alloy is a Ni—W—B ternary alloy with main components of Ni, W and B, wherein the three elements have strong high-temperature corrosion resistance at a temperature of about 600° C., and have the potential of solid solution hardening and precipitate formation because all belong to solid solution forming elements, so that a creep strength of a nickel alloy matrix is improved. Meanwhile, Al and Cr are further added in the alloy formula, so that Al2O3 and Cr2O3 oxide layers can be formed, which play a role as a physical diffusion barrier against chlorine gas and other corrosive gases.

  • Patent number: 12096982
Abstract: In certain embodiments, double-vision-related vision defects determinations or modifications may be facilitated. In some embodiments, a stimulus may be to be presented at a first time at a position on a first display for a deviating eye of a user (e.g., without a stimulus being presented on a second display of for a reference eye of the user) to cause the deviating eye to fixate on the position on the first display. A deviation measurement for the deviating eye may be determined based on an amount of movement of the deviating eye occurring upon the presentation on the first display for the deviating eye at the first time. In some embodiments, a modification profile associated with the user may be determined based on the deviation measurement, where the modification profile includes one or more modification parameters to be applied to modify an image for the user.

  • Patent number: 12101477
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a video processing method, apparatus and storage medium using the resolution of a reference picture. Filtering is performed based on resolutions of reference pictures of blocks forming a boundary. The resolutions of the reference pictures may define filtering. Depending on whether the resolutions of the reference pictures are different from each other, one or more filter selection parameters for filtering may be determined or updated. Further, based on whether the resolutions of the reference pictures are different from each other, the boundary strength of the filter may be determined. Because filtering is defined using the resolutions of reference pictures, performance of encoding and/or decoding may be improved.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to large area single crystal diamond (SCD) surfaces and substrates, and their methods of formation. Typical large area substrates can be at least about 25 mm, 50 mm, or 100 mm in diameter or square edge length, and suitable thicknesses can be about 100 ?m to 1000 ?m. The large area substrates have a high degree of crystallographic alignment. The large area substrates can be used in a variety of electronics and/or optics applications. Methods of forming the large area substrates generally include lateral and vertical growth of SCD on spaced apart and crystallographically aligned SCD seed substrates, with the individual SCD growth layers eventually merging to form a composite SCD layer of high quality and high crystallographic alignment. A diamond substrate holder can be used to crystallographically align the SCD seed substrates and reduce the effect of thermal stress on the formed SCD layers.

  • Patent number: 12098506
Abstract: A method of forming glass-like sheets using date palm seeds is provided. The method includes milling date palm seeds to form a powder. The powder is compressed to form discs, after which the discs are immersed in a delignification solution followed by removal from the delignification solution and washing. The discs formed from the date palm seed powder are immersed in a bleaching solution until a change in color is observed from opaque to transparent. The transparent discs thus formed are then hardened through application of an epoxy resin. The initial grinding procedure may be substituted by an initial slicing step of the date palm seeds in a similar method of forming the glass-like sheets.

  • Patent number: 12100954
Abstract: A transient stability assessment method for an electric power system is disclosed. Transient stability tags and steady-state data of the electric power system before a failure occurs are collected from transient stability simulation data. Data sets under different predetermined failures are obtained based on a statistical result of the transient stability tags and a maximum-minimum method. A similarity evaluation index between different predetermined failures is constructed based on a Jaccard distance and a Hausdorff distance. Different predetermined failures are clustered based on a clustering algorithm. A parameters-shared siamese neural network is trained for different predetermined failures in each cluster to obtain a multi-task siamese neural network for the transient stability assessment.
