  • Patent number: 8287664
Abstract: A magnet core is required to be particularly dense, made of alloys produced in a rapid solidification process and have a minimal coercitive field strength. To achieve these aims, a coarse-grain powder fraction is first produced from an amorphous strip of a soft magnetic alloy. In addition, at least one fine-grain powder fraction is produced from a nanocrystalline strip of a soft magnetic alloy. The particle fractions are then mixed to produce a multi-modal powder, wherein the particles of the coarse-grain particle fraction have an amorphous structure and the particles of the fine-grain powder fraction have a nanocrystalline structure. The multi-modal powder is then pressed to produce a magnet core.

  • Patent number: 8216393
Abstract: A powder composite core is to be particularly dense and strong while being produced from soft magnetic alloys. In particular, the expansion of the heat-treated core is to be avoided. To produce this core, a strip of a soft magnetic alloy is first comminuted to form particles. The particles are mixed with a first binder having a curing temperature T1,cure and a decomposition temperature T1,decompose and a second binder having a curing temperature T2,cure and a decomposition temperature T2,decompose, wherein T1,cure<T2,cure?T1,decompose<T2,decompose. The mix is pressed to produce a magnet core while the first binder is cured. The magnet core is then subjected to a heat treatment accompanied by the curing of the second binder at a heat treatment temperature TAnneal>T2,cure.

  • Patent number: 8217642
Abstract: A method and current sensor arrangement for measurement of a primary current in a primary conductor which is magnetically coupled to a secondary conductor via a ferromagnetic core, with a voltage of a specific amplitude being applied to the secondary conductor, such that a secondary current flows for remagnetization of the ferromagnetic core, and the secondary current is measured during the remagnetization of the core, in order to obtain a first measured value. The voltage polarity is then reversed such that a secondary current flows for renewed remagnetization of the ferromagnetic core, and the secondary current is measured during the remagnetization of the core, in order to obtain a second measured value. The primary current is calculated as a function of the first and of the second measured value, with the polarity reversal being carried out at least once at a time which occurs before that time at which the ferromagnetic core reaches its saturation magnetization.

  • Publication number: 20120156441
Abstract: The invention relates to a laminated core with soft-magnetic material and to a method for joining core laminations by adhesive force to form a soft-magnetic laminated core. The laminated core comprises core laminations made of soft-magnetic sheets, which form a core lamination stack. The core lamination stack has intermediate layers between the core laminations. The intermediate layers comprise a cured adhesive introduced in a state of low viscosity into interstices between the core laminations. For this purpose, the core laminations comprise a final-annealed, crystalline CoFe alloy, an adhesive-wettable top side and an adhesive-wettable underside. Together with the intermediate layers, the core laminations form a dimensionally accurate laminated core. The laminated core has a substantially adhesive-free contour consisting of contour surfaces of the core laminations. The adhesive is solvent-free in its low-viscosity state.
