The user selected location is transmitted and received by data busses of the automated parking device. The automated parking device has a sensor that determines the location of various sides of the parking slot in relation to the vehicle. The automated parking device further includes an electronic control module that determines a path from the vehicle to the user selected location. The electronic control module proceeds to autonomously maneuver the vehicle along the determined path.
