Abstract: A lighting module giving a cut light beam, including a concave reflector, at least one light source (S) arranged in the concavity of the reflector, and a lens situated in front of the reflector which is associated with a bender, the top side of which is reflecting. The bender has an edge of front end such as to form the cut in the light beam; the front edge of the bender is formed by a flat curve of variable curvature, the curve in a point (M) being a continuous function of the lateral coordinate (x) of this point. The reflector is determined to transform the wave surface originating from the source into a wave surface leading to the curve of variable curvature of the edge of the bender, and lens is determined to give an image to infinite from point (M) of edge of the bender.

Abstract: A method wherein the signals (SW1, Sw2, Sw3) controlling the power supply (10) of the phase windings (4) of the motor consist of signals (So1, So2, So3) that are out-of-phase by a phase angle (f) which is continuously variable in relation to synchronization signals (Si1, Si2, Si3) generated by sensors (1) detecting the position of the rotor. According to the method, a processing unit (5) comprises inlets (8) for receiving the synchronization signals and outlets (6, 7) for transmitting the out-of-phase signals. The synchronization signals are binary signals presenting synchronization fronts and the rising and falling fronts of the out-of-phase signals are generated, following a level switching time depending at least on the phase angle, from at least one reference front selected from the synchronization fronts such that the switching time is minimum.
Abstract: A device for detecting the angular position of a rotor of a polyphase rotary electrical machine contains a stator and a plurality of magnetic field sensors (200) delivering first signals (2001-2003) representing a magnetic field. The device includes means (201) for generating, from linear combinations of the first signals, first (2010) and second (2011) sinusoidal signals, phase-shifted by a determined value ? representing an angular position of the rotor, referred to as real. Abstract: The invention relates to an operating module for a vehicle anti-theft lock comprising a stator and a rotor that can be turned in the stator by a conforming key comprising an electronic identifier, the said module comprising a support (3) intended to be mounted on the stator and carrying an antenna (5) intended to be connected to an identification unit capable of authenticating the electronic identifier of the said key by exchanging signals, and authorizing the starting of the vehicle when an authorized identifier has been detected. Abstract: A system and method for generating alert signals in a detection system is described. The system compares data extracted from signals received via receive antenna beams with stored scenarios and determines whether to generate an alert signal based upon the results of the compare operation. The comparison of data extracted from received signals with stored scenarios can be accomplished by using one or more latches to process the extracted data from the received signals. In one embodiment, raw detections are pre-processed to generate so-called field of view (FOV) products. The FOV products are then provided to a tracker. In another embodiment, rather than pre-process the raw detections, the raw detections are instead provided directly to a tracker which processes the raw detections to provide products including, but not limited to, relative velocity and other parameters.

Abstract: The device according to the invention comprises a light source and electronic supply and control. The light source electronic supply and control comprises at least one circuit comprising at least one stack of chips formed from at least two power components (IGBTb1, IGBTh1). Abstract: The present invention relates in particular to a method for the early detection of the arrival of a motor vehicle in a dark sector. In general terms, the invention proposes to use a camera for early detection of the arrival of the vehicle in a dark area, for example a tunnel. For this purpose, in the invention, provision is made in particular for using an image processing application for determining on a set of images supplied by the camera, whether the vehicle is ready to enter a dark area and, if it turns out that the vehicle will enter a dark area, to cause a switching on of the lights. Particular embodiments of the method according to the invention also make it possible to dispense with storing a plurality of templates corresponding to the various shapes of tunnel entrances, by providing judicious and reliable recognition criteria.
Abstract: A communication method is implemented in an on-board network between a master station (M) and a plurality of slave stations (S1, S2, S3, S4), of the type of those compatible with the standard Local Interconnect Network (LIN) protocol in which data frames are sent by the slave stations on a serial bus in response to the sending by the master station of identifiers (4, 6) representative of the required content of the frames. All (7) or part of each of the specific data frames attached to the same predetermined identifier (4, 6) is formed sequentially by each of the slave stations. This enables an optimisation of the load on a LIN network, thus enabling use of this economical standard for all “passenger compartment functions”, and in particular for the management of AFS type advanced lighting systems.
