Abstract: A docking station secures a portable electrical energy source to a vehicle having a DC power supply and charges a battery contained in the portable electrical energy source. The docking station includes a platform adaptive for receiving the portable electrical energy source. A first attaching mechanism removably fixes the portable electrical energy source to the platform. A second attaching mechanism fixes the platform to a structure of the vehicle. An electrical circuit has an input adapted for connection to the DC power supply of the vehicle and an output adapted for connection to the battery of the portable electrical energy source while the portable electrical energy source is fixed to the platform. A circuit is coupled between the input and output of the electrical circuit for controlling charging of the battery of the portable electrical energy source.
Abstract: A portable light includes first and second d.c. lamps. A first housing portion has longitudinal access and encloses the first lamp while projecting a first light beam in a direction of longitudinal access. The first housing portion has a exterior surface contour and includes a compartment containing an electrical device connectable to a d.c. power supply connectable in circuit with the first lamp. A second housing portion is the shape of a hand grip and extends from first side of the first housing portion in a direction transversed to the longitudinal access to the first housing portion. The second housing portion encloses the second lamp which is connectable in circuit with the electrical device for projecting a second light beam in the direction forming at an angle with the longitudinal access of the first housing portion.
Abstract: An electrical outlet adapter has a base that has a support face and a room face. The support face has a cord end, an oppositely disposed nose end and two sides. The room face is spaced from the support face and comprises a cord end socket surface and a nose end socket surface, spaced from each other and substantially parallel, each socket surface forms an angle with the support face of between 90.degree. and 135.degree.. A medial surface connects the cord end socket surface with an adjacent socket surface relatively noseward. Piercing each socket surface is at least one set of socket holes adapted to receive a multi-prong electrical power plug. Adjacent each set of socket holes is an electrical conductor configured to mate with the multi-prong electrical power plug when inserted into the set of holes. Connected to each of the electrical conductors, is an electrical network that is configured as a multi-prong electrical power plug. The adapter may also have a cover.
