Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium provide a validation and anomaly detection service. The service includes quantitatively assessing latent space data representative of network performance data, which may be generated by a generative model, based on quantitative values pertaining to quantitative criteria. The quantitative criteria may include Hausdorff distances, divergence, joint entropy, and/or total correlation. The service further includes generating geogrid data for services areas of deployed network devices and service areas for prospective and new deployments based on selected latent space data and corresponding network performance data.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content generating, searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide systems and methods for automatically detecting and rendering highlights from streaming videos in real-time. As a streaming video is being broadcast over the Internet, the disclosed systems and methods determine each type of scene from the streaming video, and automatically score highlight scenes. The scored highlight scenes are then communicated to users as compiled video segments, which can be over any type of channel or platform accessible to a user's device and network that enables content rendering and user interaction.

Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing motion-based parental controls on mobile devices using virtual private network (VPN)-based parental control services are provided. A parental control profile is received at a controlled device where the parental control profile includes instructions to configure the controlled device with a device motion-based control policy. The device motion-based control policy includes a motion-related condition and a resource that is restricted when the motion-related condition is met. A VPN is configured using the parental control profile. The VPN comprises a virtual point-to-point connection between the controlled device and a network of the parental control service. When it is determined that the motion-related condition of the controlled device has been met, a restricted mode is initiated on the controlled device to restrict the resource.

Abstract: Systems and methods validate that subscriber identity module (SIM) number of an end device connected to a network is the same number that was activated for that device. A network device in a network obtains a SIM number and a universal identifier (UID) for the end device during an activation procedure. The network device generates a unique SIM authentication code based on the SIM number, the UID, and a master key. The network device sends the unique SIM authentication code to the end device as part of the activation procedure. After activation, the network device receives, from the end device, an authentication message that includes a first one-time password (OTP), the UID, a time value, the SIM number, and the SIM authentication code. The network device generates a second OTP based on the UID, the time value, the SIM number, and the master key and validates a pairing of the end device and the SIM number when the two OTPs match.

Abstract: A microservice monitoring platform can determine a service health status for a microservice based on a service type associated with the microservice. The microservice can be hosted in a first cloud computing environment by a first data center. The microservice monitoring platform can determine a feature health status for a cloud-based feature based on the service health status for the microservice, wherein the cloud-based feature is hosted in the first cloud computing environment by the first data center and uses the microservice. The microservice monitoring platform can transmit, based on the feature health status, an instruction to route a service request, associated with the cloud-based feature, to one of the first data center or a second data center that hosts the cloud-based feature in a second cloud computing environment.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium provide to receive from an end device, a first measurement of a signal transmitted by a wireless station and measured by the end device outside of a building; receive, from the end device, a second measurement of a signal transmitted by the wireless station and measured by the end device inside the building; calculate, based on the first measurement and the second measurement, a path loss, for a second frequency, between a future generation cell site and the building; calculate a received signal power of the future generation cell site based on the path loss; compare the received signal power to a threshold value; determine, based on the comparison, whether the building is qualified to receive future generation equipment to be placed in the building.

Abstract: A first device receives information indicating changed network conditions for a network supporting a call with a second device at a first audio bit rate, and provides, to the second device, a packet instructing use of a second audio bit rate. The first device starts a timer associated with receiving an indication that the second device is using the second audio bit rate, and receives, from the second device, a response packet at the first audio bit rate. The first device determines that the timer has expired, and provides, to the second device, additional packets instructing use of the second audio bit rate. The first device determines that a threshold quantity of additional packets have been provided to the second device, and re-negotiates the second audio bit rate with the second device. The first device continues the call with the second device at the second audio bit rate.

Abstract: The present teaching relates to a method, system, and programming for determining a source of a data object. A first average latency of a plurality of users in accessing the data object from the first data source is computed, wherein the first data source was previously identified as being the source of the data object. From each of other data sources, a second average latency of the plurality of users in accessing the data object from the other data source is obtained. In response to the first data source satisfying a first criterion associated with the first average latency, the first data source is maintained to be the source of the data object. In response to the first data source violating the first criterion, one of the other data sources that satisfies a second criterion associated with the second average latency is deemed as the source of the data object.

Abstract: A network device may include a memory storing instructions and processor configured to execute the instructions to receive a file transfer request that includes at least a network location corresponding to a file to be transferred; determine whether the network location is internal or external to a network to which the network device belongs; modify the network location when it is determined that the network location included in the file transfer request is external to the network; and retrieve the file to be transferred using the modified network location.

Abstract: A device obtains a plurality of server logs from a plurality of servers, where each server log includes a plurality of log entries, and generates, based on the plurality of log entries, a plurality of data structures, where each data structure includes one or more log entries that concern a server request. The device identifies a set of data structures associated with one or more server errors and processes the set of data structures using an artificial intelligence technique to determine a respective classification score of each data structure. The device determines, based on the respective classification score of each data structure, a respective server error type of each data structure, and causes display of information concerning at least one server error type associated with the set of data structures.

Abstract: A device initiates voice communication sessions with a media resource function processor (MRFP) of a network, where each voice communication session communicates audio data via one or more network devices of the network. For each voice communication session, the device sends first audio data to the MRFP and receives second audio data from the MRFP via the voice communication session, processes the first audio data and second audio data to determine one or more characteristics of the second audio data, and generates a record concerning the voice communication session based on the one or more characteristics of the second audio data. The device generates a report based on a respective record of each voice communication session, processes the report using an artificial intelligence technique to identify an issue concerning at least one network device, and performs, based on identifying the issue, an action concerning the at least one network device.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content providing, searching and/or hosting systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework for analyzing messages shared over a network and identifying information in them referencing entities based on a determined context of the messages. Once the entity information is identified, the disclosed framework segregates them based on the context, and then presents them in contextual views as content cards within or as part of generated, content-specific interfaces. The disclosed framework enables users to continue messaging while pivoting between different views of the generated interfaces, which enables the retrieval of additional information related to the entity information included on the content cards.

Abstract: A device may obtain, for an account associated with a user equipment (UE) that is connected to a network, subscriber profile data that includes a group identifier for a messaging group for UEs that are eligible to utilize a group messaging service. The device may update a data structure to associate the group identifier and a UE identifier for the UE, wherein the data structure also associates the group identifier and other UE identifiers for other UEs of the messaging group. The device may receive, based on being subscribed to the group messaging service, group message data for a group message. Abstract: The technologies described herein serve contextually relevant advertisements under a guaranteed advertisement campaign. A publisher retrieves a guaranteed advertisement campaign related to a webpage available for serving an advertisement, and identifies a set of advertisements relating to the guaranteed advertisement campaign. Advertisement selecting circuitry of the publisher determines whether an advertisement that is contextually relevant to content published at the webpage is present in the set of advertisements. If there is no contextually relevant advertisement in the set of advertisements, the advertisement selecting circuitry selects an alternative advertisement from the set of advertisements that minimizes an under-delivery risk related to the guaranteed advertisement campaign. If there is a contextually relevant advertisement in the set of advertisements, the advertisement selecting circuitry selects the contextually relevant advertisement.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authorizing an Internet of Things (IoT) application of an IoT device (such as a smart TV or a set-top box microconsole). Examples can include establishing, by the IoT application, a connection with a mobile application of a mobile device. The connection can be a wireless link that has a maximum range less than or equal to 400 meters (such as a Bluetooth or a near-field communication (NFC) link). Examples can also include sending, by the IoT application, a request to a remote server to return a connector code. The request can include an identification of the wireless link. Examples can also include receiving, by the IoT application, the connector code from the remote server or a second server, and transferring, by the IoT application, the connector code to the mobile application via the wireless link.

Abstract: In various embodiments, methods and systems for implementing a device management system with a restore prevention utility are provided. A request is received, at a control server, for an installation file for a restore prevention application. Based on receiving the request, the control server circumvents communication of the installation file based on transmitting a response code. The response code is an informational code that operates as an indicator to wait for a final response. Transmitting the response code triggers maintaining a pending state for the restore prevention application at the controlled device.

The content delivery micro edge server is a virtualized edge server associated with a service provider and the web server is associated with a host entity that is different than the service provider. The method may include partitioning web server capacity associated with the web server into the content delivery micro edge server and host entity assigned web server capacity. The method also includes activating at least one application associated with the content delivery micro edge server to provide content delivery services. The method includes registering, with the service provider, the content delivery micro edge server to provide content delivery services. The method further includes receiving a request for content to be provided to a client device, and delivering the content to the client device.
