Abstract: An optical imaging system for a dimensional measuring machine including a digital sensor having an array of addressable pixels, a lens system that provides for forming an image of a test object on the digital sensor, and a variable size aperture of the lens that changes an f-number of the lens system for imaging points of the test object on the digital sensor at different spot sizes. An aperture controller varies the aperture size. An image controller groups contiguous clusters of one or more of the pixels having a common output such that the number of pixels within each of the clusters having a common output can be varied.

Abstract: A method for preventing a collision between a motor vehicle and at least one target object, the motor vehicle includes a detection system capable of detecting the target object and a warning system including at least one light module. The method includes detecting the target object and determining a position and a speed of the target object using the detection system. The method further includes estimating a critical trajectory likely to be followed by the target object in order to collide with the vehicle depending on the position and the speed of the target object, the critical trajectory being associated with a collision risk/collision time relationship. The method additional includes transmitting at least one light warning to the driver of the vehicle using the light module of the warning system.

The second camera assembly includes a second camera, producing, in a second imaging modality, a second image of the organ acquired from a second angle, and a second position sensor, producing a second position signal indicative of a second position and a second orientation, of the second camera. The processor registers between the first and second images based on the first and second position signals and displays, based on the first and second images, a third image including a combination of at least part of the first and second images.
Abstract: A reflecting device includes at least one reflecting cavity corresponding to at least one light source. A first reflecting cavity located at an extremity of the reflecting device includes a first reflecting part, able to receive incident light from the light source corresponding to the first reflecting cavity, and reflect this light towards the second reflecting part. A second reflecting part adjoins the first reflecting part is able to reflect the reflected light from the first reflecting part towards the outside of the first reflecting cavity. The first reflecting cavity at the extremity of the reflecting device may include a first reflecting part and a second reflecting part, which are able to subject light rays from the light source to double reflection. This can considerably increase the design flexibility of the first reflecting cavity.
Abstract: The disclosed calibration method includes a calibration phantom positioned on an adjustable table on the surface of a mechanical couch, with the phantom's centre at an estimated location for the iso-centre of a radio therapy treatment apparatus. The calibration phantom is then irradiated using the apparatus, and the relative location of the center of the calibration phantom and the iso-centre of the apparatus is determined by analyzing images of the irradiation of the calibration phantom. The calibration phantom is then repositioned by the mechanical couch applying an offset corresponding to the determined relative location of the centre of the calibration phantom and the iso-centre of the apparatus to the calibration phantom. Images of the relocated calibration phantom are obtained, to which the offset has been applied, and the obtained images are processed to set the co-ordinate system of a stereoscopic camera system relative to the iso-centre of the apparatus.

Abstract: A light guide plate, a front light guide structure for a reflective thin film transistor (TFT) screen, and a sunlight screen relate to the field of display technologies. The light guide plate includes a light guide substrate. Scattering netted dots are fixed on a side of the light guide substrate, and the scattering netted dots are provided on the light guide substrate by means of ultra-violet (UV) nanoimprint lithography. By providing the scattering netted dots on the light guide substrate by means of UV nanoimprint lithography, the reflectivity of the light guide substrate can be effectively reduced, and a better display effect can thus be obtained.
