Patents Assigned to Voith Sulzer Papiertechnik Patent GmbH
  • Patent number: 6056126
Abstract: A screen device including a multitude of parallel rods between which are located the sorting slots. The rods are held in position by supporting elements, which are connected with carriers. The respective cover elements are located at the faces of the rods. Due to their special design, the cover elements may be detachable. The screen devices may be used, for example, in the paper-making industry as cylindrical screen baskets or plane screens.

  • Patent number: 6000640
Abstract: Process and device for decomposing fibrous material in an installation including a drum having an inner wall, a first end, and a second end, a displacer having an outer wall positioned inside the drum, and a processing channel formed between at least a portion of the outer wall and at least a portion of the inner wall. The process includes pouring fibrous material to be decomposed into the drum, relatively moving the outer wall relative to the inner wall in a peripheral direction of the drum, and mechanically processing the fibrous material in the processing channel.

  • Patent number: 5972168
Abstract: In a twin-wire former for the production of a paper web, two wire belts (11 and 12) together form a twin-wire zone which is divided into three sections (I, II and III). In the first section (I) the two wires (11, 12) travel over a curved forming shoe (16). They form there a wedge-shaped inlet slot (15) with which a headbox (10) is directly associated. In the second section (II), several resiliently supported strips (27) rest against the lower wire (11) and between each of said strips (27) a rigidly mounted strip (28) rests against the upper wire (12). In the third section (III) both wire belts (11, 12) pass over another curved forming shoe (23).

  • Patent number: 5931406
Abstract: A winder is proposed for continuously winding a paper, while forming a wound reel on a spool, having a contact pressure drum, which forms a winding nip with the wound reel and is rotatably arranged on a lifting table, which can be displaced vertically or substantially vertically, and having a guide for the spool, which comprises guide rails arranged parallel or substantially parallel to an imaginary horizontal. On the lifting table is a transport device, on which the contact pressure drum is rotatably arranged, and that the transport device can be displaced horizontally by means of a thrust device. The contact pressure drum moves vertically to establish one nip at a time with each spool in sequence, and to move out of the way of horizontal motion of a spool moving toward its winding position.

  • Patent number: 5904308
Abstract: Treatment tools for the mechanical treatment of high-consistency fibrous material, and preferably for dispersing waste paper. The treatment tools are provided with teeth and are moved past one another with tight spacing so that the fibrous material disposed between treatment tool may be subjected to high shearing forces. Because of the intense loading of the teeth, the teeth may be arranged together in groups. The groups utilize at least one intermediary piece positioned between adjacent teeth to form at least a corresponding closed gap between the adjacent teeth of the treatment tools. As a result, a higher mechanical strength of the teeth is achieved and a large through flow area is offered for the material to be treated.
