    Abstract: Molecular sensing of target molecules is performed by using an electrode for molecular sensing in which detecting molecules which can shift a surface potential of the electrode by an interaction with the target molecules are bound directly or via coupling molecules to surface hydroxyl groups on a conductive metal oxide. By this molecular sensing, specific target molecules can be detected selectively and stably with high accuracy. It is also possible to detect an enantiomer selectively and stably with high accuracy. The present invention can provide a chemical sensing system which is useful in fields such as medicines, environments and foods.

    Abstract: A blood vessel model for medical training not deforming with time and approximated to a real blood vessel without using any other tool when the blood vessel wall of the simulated blood vessel is incised or cut off. The blood vessel model 10 includes a simulated blood vessel 11 simulating a blood vessel and artificially fabricated and a base 12 supporting the simulated blood vessel 11. The simulated blood vessel 11 has a circumferentially exposed part and the other part buried in the base 12. The base 12 has a jointed part 24 disposed in a position below the simulated blood vessel 11 and formed by joining forming edges 26A, 26A of a cutout 26 extending along the simulated blood vessel 11 to impart a tensile stress in the diameter-increasing direction to the simulated blood vessel 11.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a microcrystalline-to-amorphous gold alloy-plated film having excellent electrical properties and excellent mechanical properties. Physical properties including both the advantageous properties of a crystalline structure and the advantageous properties of an amorphous structure can be obtained by allowing a microcrystalline phase and an amorphous phase to exist in a mixed state at a specific ratio. The average particle diameter of the microcrystals is 30 nm or smaller, the volume fraction of the microcrystals is 10 to 90%, the knoop hardness is Hk 180 or more, the specific resistivity is 200 ??-cm or less. In the film, hardness and abrasion resistance can be improved while maintaining a good specific resistivity value and chemical stability both inherent to gold at practically insignificant levels. Therefore, the film is useful as a material for connecting an electric or electronic component such as a connector and a relay.

    Abstract: Each of processors has a barrier write register and a barrier read register. Each barrier write register is wired to each barrier read register by a dedicated wiring block. For example, a 1-bit barrier write register of a processor is connected, via the wiring block, to a first bit of each 8-bit barrier read register contained in the processors, and a 1-bit barrier write register of another processor is connected, via a wiring block, to a second bit of each 8-bit barrier read register contained in the processors. For example, a processor writes information to its own barrier write register, thereby notifying synchronization stand-by to the other processors and reads its own barrier read register, thereby recognizing whether the other processors are in synchronization stand-by or not. Therefore, a special dedicated instruction is not required along barrier synchronization processing, and the processing can be made at a high speed.

    Abstract: Performance of a heterogeneous multiprocessor is reduced as much as possible within a short time without any awareness of parallelization matched with a configuration of the heterogeneous multiprocessor. In a heterogeneous multiprocessor system, tasks having parallelism are automatically extracted by a compiler, a portion to be efficiently processed by a dedicated processor is extracted from an input program being a processing target, and processing time is estimated. Thus, by arranging the tasks according to PU characteristics, scheduling for efficiently operating a plurality of PU's in parallel is carried out.

    Abstract: In the transplant of a living organism tissue, such as a heart valve, taken from an animal, etc. into a human body, a cell removing solution for removing original cells from the living organism tissue is provided with flow approximately equal to the bloodstream of transplant recipient living body, and the living organism tissue is placed in the flow so as to effect immersion of the living organism tissue in the cell removing solution. In the immersion, it is preferred that the living organism tissue placed in the cell removing solution, while being rotated, be irradiated with microwave. As a result, original cells can be removed from the living organism tissue uniformly and reliably, so that the biocompatibility of living organism tissue after transplant can be enhanced.

A first material (75) made of a mixed material comprising calcium carbonate or the like and silicone or the like is applied to the concave (12). A second material (76) such as silicone is applied to the entire outer periphery of the mold (10). After hardening the materials (75, 76), the mold (10) is withdrawn by detaching the axial member (18) and dividing the concave (12).
