Abstract: Bag for storing vegetables constructed of a piece of a synthetic, absorbent cloth constructed of microfibers, the piece being formed in the shape of a bag having an opening for receiving the vegetables to be stored in the bag. At least one cord is secured to the piece of cloth at a position proximate to the opening, the cord having a length sufficient to tie around a portion of the bag proximate to the opening, when that portion of the bag is cinched, so as to close the opening and secure the vegetables stored in the bag. The bag does not substantially shield the vegetables stored in the bag from the ambient environment with any impermeable material positioned between the vegetables stored in the bag and the ambient environment.
Abstract: Spoon-shaped kitchen implement including a shallow bowl and a handle. The shallow bowl has a leading edge, a concave upper surface and a convex lower surface. The handle is attached to the bowl at a position substantially opposite the bowl's leading edge. The bowl also has a plurality of grating holes through it that present a rubbing zone that is sufficiently rough that a gratable foodstuff can be reduced to small particles by rubbing it on the zone. Two such implements can be pivotably joined at their handles, to form a pair of tongs.

Abstract: A cutting device especially designed for cutting up salad greens includes two blades, a rib and handles. The two blades are inter-secured to rotate together about a common axis, but are spaced apart from each other along the common axis. The rib is pivotably secured to the two blades so as to rotate about the common axis, and is curved in a direction of rotation so as to have a concave surface. The handles are integrated with the two blades and the rib to control the two blades and the rib to rotate simultaneously between open and closed positions. The concave surface of the rib is the lead surface when moving from the open position to the closed position, and the cutting edges of the two blades cross edges of the concave surface when moving from the open position to the closed position, so as to perform a cutting action.
