Abstract: A tiltable chair in which a back rest is supported by at least one rear lever via a swivel joint and the seat is supported by a resilient, flexible front mounting element on a pedestal in such a way that when the back rest is tilted forwards or backwards the seat simultaneously partakes of an approximately horizontal, linear movement and the rear part of the seat partakes of a greater lifting or lowering movement than the front part of the seat.
Abstract: The invention relates to a table system in which at least two adjacent table elements can be releasably connected via their opposing table top edges with the aid of at least one mechanical connecting arrangement. Of the essentially two-part connecting arrangement a first main part contains a retaining lever which is built into the table top edge region of one table element and can be pivoted outwards, whilst the second main part of the connecting arrangement, built into the table top edge region of the adjacent table element, is constructed so as to receive the retaining lever form-lockingly and contains a securing element for the locking engagement between the first and second main parts. The assembly and disconnection of the individual table elements can be carried out quickly and reliably without additional aids.

Abstract: The invention relates to a variable seating arrangement with a plurality of seating elements which are supported by at least two approximately horizontal support elements (1, 1') the adjacent ends (1a, 1'a) of which are connected to one another in a common connecting column (4) and are pivotable relative to one another about a vertical shaft (6). In this way an extremely large number of arrangements and groupings of the seating elements relative to one another are possible.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for sprung tilting movement of a component such as an inclining mechanism for a tiltable seat. The spring system is formed by at least one spring rod which is rotatably mounted in at least two bearings of which one bearing is stationary in the operating state while the other bearing is rotatable about an axis spatially offset relative to the axis of the spring rod. This results in a simple, light and space-saving construction.
Abstract: A sitting furniture article with padding mounted on a supporting shell. The padding includes a cover and a profile strip for clamping the cover to a rim of the shell. The profile strip is embedded along an outer surface thereof in a foam cushion member forming the padding and is surrounded by a tightened cover.
