Description

FIG. 1 is a rear perspective view of an arm-chair showing my design;

FIG. 2 is a frontal perspective view of the FIG. 1 embodiment, seen from a point to one side of the chair;

FIG. 3 is a full frontal view of a second chair embodiment in accordance with the present invention, this embodiment differing from that of FIGS. 1 and 2 in the provision of horizontal ribbing on the chair seat and back, and the addition of a vertical top portion to the seat back;

FIG. 4 is a perspective rear view of the chair embodiment of FIG. 3, viewed from one side of the chair;

FIG. 5 is a frontal perspective view as seen from a point to one side of the chair illustrating a third embodiment in accordance with the present invention, this embodiment differing from that of FIGS. 3 and 4 only in the pedestal being provided with supporting pads instead of casters;

FIG. 6 is a rear perspective view of the embodiment of FIG. 5;

FIG. 7 shows a modification of the FIG. 5 embodiment in a frontal perspective view, seen from a point to one side of the chair, the sole difference in the chair being an elongation of the vertical back portion which is provided with a headrest cushion;

FIG. 8 is a top view of the embodiment of FIG. 7;

FIG. 9 shows a modification of the FIG. 3 embodiment, in a frontal perspective view seen from a point to one side of the chair, and illustrating the distinguishing characteristic of the frontal horizontal ribbing being restricted to the vicinity where the back and seat portions of the chair meet;

FIG. 10 is a side perspective view of the FIG. 9 embodiment;

FIG. 11 is a frontal perspective view of the FIG. 9 embodiment;

FIGS. 12 and 13 are rear perspective views from directly behind and from a point to one side of the chair, respectively, and illustrating the use of an unribbed rear surface similar to that shown in connection with the FIG. 1 embodiment;

FIG. 14 is a front perspective view of yet another modified version of the FIG. 3 embodiment, wherein the frontal ribbing has been replaced by simulated loose cushions;

FIG. 15 is a side perspective view of the embodiment of FIG. 14; and

FIG. 16 is a rear perspective view of the FIG. 14 embodiment, illustrating a rear surface of the back of the chair which is free of horizontal ribbing.
