Abstract: A joining device is provided for rails of a baby bed, in which the joining connects two adjacent rail tubes of the rail, where an end of each of the rail tubes is pivotally connected to the joining device. The joining device is formed as a saddle part in a shape having two upstanding side walls and an arched portion connected between top edges of the two side walls. The joining device further has a smooth contact face formed on each of the two sides of the arched portion and a smoothly trimmed face connected to the smooth contact face, so that the tube walls of the rail tubes are contacted with the smooth contact faces when the rail tubes are pivotally rotated close to the two sides of the arched portion.

Abstract: A stroller includes a stroller frame having a pair of lateral members, a footrest disposed rotatably between the lateral members and having a coupling portion, and a locking device disposed between the footrest and the lateral members and operable to allow for an adjustment to an angle of the footrest with respect to the lateral members. The locking device includes an angle-limiting mechanism and an actuator operable to allow the footrest to be pivoted relative to the lateral members to a selected one of a first angular position and a second angular position. The angle-limiting mechanism locks the footrest at the selected one of the first and second angular positions when the actuator is released. When the footrest is disposed at the first angular position, the coupling portion of the footrest is engageable with a retaining member of a car seat.

Abstract: A tandem stroller frame includes two lateral frame units, a handle unit, two side rod units, and a footrest plate. Each lateral frame unit includes front and leg rods connected pivotally to each other. The handle unit includes two side handle rods connected pivotally and respectively to the lateral frame units. Each side rod unit is disposed between the front leg rod of a respective one of the lateral frame units and a corresponding one of the side handle rods, and includes a front leg connecting portion connected pivotally to the front leg rod of the respective lateral frame unit, and a rear connecting portion connected pivotally to one of the corresponding side handle rod and the rear leg rod of the respective lateral frame unit. The footrest plate interconnects the rear leg rods of the lateral frame units.

Abstract: A car seat includes a seat member on which the child is transported and a separable base member that is mounted to the vehicle seat via the vehicle seat belt which is passed through side openings in the base member and trapped in a belt latch apparatus to secure the base member to the vehicle seat. The seat member is mounted on the base member in either a forward-facing orientation or a rear-facing orientation. The base member includes a pair of upper and lower recline slots that receive latch pins securing the seat member to the base member. A recline apparatus carried by the seat member engages a central control rack on the base member to lock the seat member in a selected recline position. In the rear-facing position, the seat member is positionable in different orientations to compensate for the angle at which the vehicle seat is formed.

Abstract: A bassinet for mounting on a play yard frame is supported to provide a swinging movement of the bassinet relative to the play yard. The bassinet is suspended from four detachable connector mounts that slide over the upper frame member of the play yard frame by three flexible support members and a single rigid support member that is operatively connected to a motor housed within a motorized connector mount to drive the swinging motion for the bassinet. The movement induced into the bassinet is controlled by the four support members to keep the bottom surface of the bassinet at a horizontal orientation throughout the swinging movement. The bottom board of the play yard is formed in segments which can be reconfigured to fit in the bassinet. The end segment can be folded below the remaining segments, or in the alternative removed, to affect the reconfiguration for the bassinet structure.

Abstract: A changing table is mounted on the vertical frame members of a play yard by mounting members located along the transverse centerline of the changing table. The frame of the changing table is formed in an oval shape to eliminate any portion thereof that would be oriented generally parallel to the upper frame members of the play yard. The vertical frame member is formed with a linear upper portion and a curved lower portion. The linear upper portions enable the mounting members to be telescopically received for height adjustment of the changing table. The curved lower portions positions the foot members at the lower ends of the vertical frame members outboard of the upper ends on which the changing table is mounted to enhance stability.

Abstract: A child car seat is adapted for use in an automobile, and includes a seat assembly and a backrest unit connected to the seat assembly and including a backrest body, a pair of safety belts, and a guide component. The backrest body has opposite front and rear surfaces, and a plurality of spaced apart pairs of belt slots. Each belt slot has opposite front and rear open ends formed respectively in the front and rear surfaces. Each safety belt has a free end portion. The guide component is coupled to the rear surface of the backrest body and covers the rear open ends of the belt slots. The free end portions of the safety belts are extended respectively through a selected one pair of the belt slots, and along a predetermined route behind the rear surface of the backrest body through guidance of the guide component.

The storage structure is pivotally connected to the armrest base. A first storage space and a second storage space are formed in the storage structure. The first storage space and the second storage space are located on different planes of the storage structure. The storage structure is lay down at a side of the armrest base that is located substantially on the same plane with the seating base and an opening of the first storage space faces up when the storage structure is in a first position. The storage structure is standing on the side of the armrest base and an opening of the second storage space of the storage structure faces up when the storage structure is in a second position.

Abstract: A seat assembly mechanism for a stroller has a seat frame and a main frame. The seat assembly mechanism includes a positioning device and a seat supporting member. The positioning device is disposed on the seat frame and includes a positioning pin movable between a locking position and a releasing position. The seat supporting member is disposed on the main frame, and includes a positioning-device recipient corresponding to the positioning device and a positioning groove located at a side of the positioning-device recipient. Furthermore, the positioning device is detachably assembled to the seat supporting member, and the positioning pin inserts into the positioning groove when the positioning device is disposed in the positioning-device recipient of the seat supporting member for assembling the seat frame to the main frame.

Each brake comprises a long arm. The brakes are disposed at the opposite sides of the axis. Abstract: A high chair is equipped with a tray system incorporating a multiple tray structure that is positionally adjustable relative to the high chair structure. The tray system includes a smaller lower tray formed with rearwardly extending, horizontal posts that are received within horizontally aligned sockets in the high chair structure. The distal ends of the tray posts are provided with rollers, and the high chair sockets have rollers, to provide for a smooth insertion of the posts into the sockets. The larger upper tray is detachably mounted on the lower tray for positional adjustment with the lower tray by releasing the tray posts for movement within the high chair sockets. The larger tray is formed with a depression to allow access to the position adjustment actuator. A third tray can be supported on the larger tray to facilitate cleaning of the tray system.

Abstract: The present invention provides a child safety seat. The child safety seat comprises a seat body and an impact absorbing mechanism. The seat body comprises a backrest part and a seat part, and the impact absorbing mechanism is connected to a bottom surface of the seat part. The impact absorbing mechanism comprises at least two protruding parts positioned on a rear part of the impact absorbing mechanism and protruding from the bottom surface of the seat part. The rear part is near the backrest part of the seat body. When the child safety seat is positioned on a car seat and contacts the car seat, the protruding parts are utilized for reducing impact force received from the car seat when the child safety seat encounters an impact.

Abstract: A seatbelt adjusting device includes: a guiding track provided with a plurality of first engaging members; a belt-connecting slider mounted on the guiding track and slidable on the guiding track; an actuator mounted movably on the belt-connecting slider, provided with a second engaging member, and operable to move relative to the belt-connecting slider between an engaging position, in which the second engaging member engages releasably an aligned one of the first engaging members, and a disengaging position, in which the second engaging member is disengaged from the first engaging members; and an urging member urging against the actuator for restoring the actuator from the disengaging position to the engaging position.

Abstract: An infant swing has a base member supported by hanger members for reciprocal movement. A seat that can be utilized in other applications is detachably mounted on and latched to the base member, which is formed with a swivel mechanism that allows the seat to be selectively positioned in a back-and-forth swing configuration or a sideways swing configuration. The swivel mechanism utilizes a triangular guide that engages an elliptical retainer to cause a lateral shift in the center of gravity of the seat when re-positioned. The base member also incorporates a recline mechanism that can be actuated with one hand. The recline actuation mechanism uses a self-centering push bar that is formed with protrusions engaged with slotted channels to lock the seat in a selected recline position. The push bar is operable to either transverse direction to release the protrusions from the slotted channels for selecting the new recline position.

Abstract: A car seat is constructed with a car seat member on which the child is transported and a separable base member that is mounted to the vehicle seat via the vehicle seat belt or latch anchor which is passed through side openings in the base member and trapped in a belt latch apparatus to secure the base member to the vehicle seat. The car seat member includes a recline actuation linkage formed with two pivotally mounted link members interconnected so that the upward movement of the recline actuator is translated into an intuitive release of the recline mechanism for adjustment of the recline angle of the car seat member relative to the base member. A level indicator is mounted on the car seat member to provide a positive feedback that the proper orientation of the car seat member has been selected for the rear facing configuration.

Abstract: A car seat is formed with a harness storage cavity in the car seat shell for placement of the five-point harness to permit the conversion of the car seat into a belt positioning booster configuration without requiring the harness to be removed from the car seat shell. The headrest and back panel pads on the back rest are removed to provide access to the harness storage cavity which is covered by a hinged door. The harness buckle and the chest clip, still attached to the harness webbing, are placed into the storage cavity and the door closed to provide a flush surface on the seat back so that the child has a smooth supporting surface. The harness webbing projects out of slots to allow the webbing to lie flat beneath the headrest and back panel pads when replaced over the closed door to the storage cavity.
