    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a portable drill guide that is useable to enable a user to more accurately use a portable drill to drill a substantially vertical hole or angled hole into a workpiece in a controlled straight line. The portable drill guide includes a base plate; a pivot assembly selectively moveable with the base plate; at least one guide column operably engaged with the at least one guide column; and a chuck carrier operably engaged with the at least one guide column and being linearly moveable relative to the base plate. The chuck carrier and the at least one guide column of the portable drill guide are pivot with the pivot assembly relative to the base plate. Additional assemblies and components may be operably engaged with the portable drill guide for assisting in drilling substantially vertical hole or angled hole into a workpiece in a controlled straight line.

    Abstract: A woodworking bridge has two base walls or components that enable the bridge to span an abutment or joint between two work pieces. A top surface enables a clamp to engage the bridge to permit the clamp to apply a clamping force to a first work piece and a second work piece on both sides of the joint and prevent the clamp from contacting the joint. This allows any adhesive that oozes from the joint to be cleaned without curing in the top surface and/or the bottom surface of the two work pieces. The work pieces may then be stained without any cured adhesive in the pores of the work pieces where stain is applied.
