Abstract: A system for storing and dispensing a magnetic tape cartridge having a pivotal storage cell (14) which includes a cartridge-discharge end and a cartridge-abutting end. A support (12) is located beneath the cell and pivot means (16) are located intermediate the ends of the cell to permit the cell to pivot on the support means relative to the horizontal. Means are provided to limit the amount of pivotal movement of the cell relative to the horizontal. The center of gravity of the cell is located closer to the cartridge-abutting end than to the cartridge-discharge end so that the cartridge abutting end of the bottom of the cell normally occupies a lower position relative to the horizontal than the discharge end and a cartridge in the bottom of the cell is inclined downwardly against the abutting end of the cell.
Abstract: There is disclosed a locking pin subassembly (94) for pull out components of storage cabinets having a locking bar (86) of C-shaped configuration, a locking pin (115) projecting from a threaded stud which is engagable in a threaded nut (127). The nut is the shape of a parallelogram, the nut has two pairs of projections (133a and 133b) engagable with interior surfaces of the flanges (92) of the locking bar so that when the lock pin is threaded into the nut, the nut will be drawn toward the rear surfaces of the flanges with the projections engaging the rear faces of the flanges affording antirotational and antisliding contact.

Abstract: A system for storing and dispensing a magnetic tape cartridges having a plurality of rows (10) of pivotal storage cells (14) within a frame (2) each cell has a cartridge-discharge end and a rear wall (22) at the opposite end. A support (12) is located beneath the cell and pivot means (16) are located intermediate the ends of the cell to permit the cell to pivot on the support means relative to the horizontal. Means are provided to limit the amount of pivotal movement of the cell relative to the horizontal. The center of gravity of the cell is located closer to the cartridge-discharge end than to the rear wall end. The cartridge-discharge end of the cell normally is inclined to pivot downwardly relative to the horizontal. Means (78) are provided to limit the amount of pivotal movement of the cartridge-discharge end of the cell at substantially a horizontal position. Means (15) are also provided to offer resistance to the downward pivotal movement of the rear wall end of the cell.
Abstract: A cell for storing and dispensing a cartridge comprising a rear wall, a vertical side wall, and a cartridge engaging bottom. A front cartridge-discharge end is located opposite the rear wall and there are means to pivot the cell relative to the horizontal. A spacer clip is removably attached to the rear wall of the cell and has a member projecting toward the discharge end of the cell. The spacer clip is engageable with the rear end of the cartridge when the cartridge is positioned on the bottom of the cell with its front end adjacent the front cartridge-discharge end of the cell.
Abstract: An adjustable height table comprising a telescoping table support assembly including stationary and movable posts interconnected in telescoping relationship to one another and positionable by a drive screw and a captive nut. The screw is mounted for rotation about its own axis, and is secured against translation along its axis, relative to one of the posts (preferably, the fixed post) such that its axis of rotation is roughly parallel the direction of the telescoping motion between the two posts. The nut is secured against rotation as the screw is rotated. The nut is provided with a female connection dimensioned to loosely captivate a pin secured to the other post (e.g., in the preferred embodiment, the movable post) so as to be roughly normal to the axis of rotation of the screw. Preferably, the bearing surface between the nut and the pin is minimized and restricted to a region of the nut proximate the surface of the screw.

Abstract: Copy holder includes a flexible rise connecting a document support assembly to a clamp assembly. The invention provides facilitated vertical line of sight operation of a computer entry terminal.
Abstract: A mounting assembly for use in mounting a video display terminal on the top surface of a workstation stand which can be tilted back and forth to allow the video display terminal to be positioned for the most comfortable, glare-free viewing and which can be swiveled about a vertical axis to change the viewing direction is disclosed.
Abstract: A new and improved cable bushing including a frame portion, and a detachable filler portion connected to the frame portion, is herein disclosed and claimed. The filler portion includes at least one hinged flap movable between a first position in which the flap is remote from the interior of the frame portion, and a second position in which the flap is disclosed substantially within the frame portion so as to permit a cable to be received therethrough while the frame portion occupies an opening within a unit of office furniture or partition. The filler portion with its flap in its first position has a substantially flat top surface which may be disposed in a coplanar relation with the top or exposed surface of the structure in which the bushing is mounted.

Abstract: A document holder for releasably binding together loose-leaf stationery items and securing them to either single- or double-rail suspension filing systems is provided by a loose-leaf binder which incorporates a thin external spine structure incorporating at least one hook suitable for suspending the binder from single-rail suspension systems and retractable head- and tail-end hooks suitable for use with double-rail suspension systems.
Abstract: A workholder for an elecrodeposition system for carrying, with improved electrical communication therewith, items to be painted or otherwise coated, comprising: a carrier; a cane-like structure having a hook, a shank connected to said hook, and a plurality of cross beams connected perpendicularly at their midpoints to said shank and in spaced parallel relation one to another, said structure being suspendable from said carrier by said hook; and means for removably securing said items on said cross beams, said means adapted to contact said items only within a hole in the item. The securing means being a spring clip of formed spring steel which has a proboscis-like distal end adapted for insertion with reversible distortion through the hole in the item, and a proximal end which slideably connects to one of the cross beams, and with spring action is removable therefrom.
