Abstract: A method, system, and computer program for software localization extracts text from resource files, handles file management of the resource files, and uses a database for storage. A method for localizing software comprises extracting text strings in a first language from source files of a software development project, determining which of the extracted text strings are to be translated to a second language, generating and sending for translation a file including the text strings that are to be translated, receiving a file including text strings that have been translated to the second language, and reconstructing the source files of the software development project including text strings that have been translated to the second language.

Abstract: What is disclosed is a system and method for automatically registering and de-registering custom EIP service application solutions across a fleet of multi-function document reproduction devices in peer-aware network. As described herein, through an implementation of the present method, custom EIP service solutions installed on one computer platform can be automatically replicated and shared across a fleet of multi-function devices without requiring manual registration of the newly deployed service with each device. Registration makes the service user-selectable directly from the device's UI. Further, when a service goes off-line or otherwise becomes available, the service is automatically de-registered with devices whereon the service has been registered. A single instance of an application service can be rapidly replicated without manual intervention. The present system is scalable from a few nodes to many nodes as additional resources are brought online.
Abstract: In an embodiment, the present invention relates to a method for semantic analysis of digital multimedia. In an embodiment of the invention, low level features are extracted representative of one or more concepts. A discriminative classifier is trained using these low level features. A collective annotation model is built based on the discriminative classifiers. In various embodiments of the invention, the frame work is totally generic and can be applied with any number of low-level features or discriminative classifiers. Further, the analysis makes no domain specific assumptions, and can be applied to activity analysis or other scenarios without modification. The framework admits the inclusion of a broad class of potential functions, hence enabling multi-modal analysis and the fusion of heterogeneous information sources.
Abstract: An ink composition, such as a nonpolar liquid or phase change (solid) ink composition, that includes a non-polar carrier, and a nanoscale pigment particle composition. The nanoscale pigment particle composition includes a benzimidazolone pigment and a sterically bulky stabilizer compound, which is an alkylated derivative of an aromatic acid, associated non-covalently with the benzimidazolone pigment. The presence of the associated stabilizer limits an extent of particle growth and aggregation, to afford nanoscale pigment particles.
Abstract: A system for determining an average walk distance for a plurality of users of print-related services may include a processor, a processor-readable storage medium in communication with the processor and an output device in communication with the processor. The processor-readable storage medium may include programming instructions for identifying a plurality of print-related services in a facility and identifying a total number of users associated with the plurality of services. For each identified user, the processor-readable storage medium may include programming instructions for identifying the services used by the user, determining a usage level associated with the services, determining a distance between the user and the service, determining an average walk distance for the users and displaying, on the output device, the average walk distance.

Abstract: A function command analysis system includes an image input unit, a position information extraction unit, a function command specification unit and a function command output unit. The image input unit inputs an image containing an image generated by light emitted from a light emission device. The position information extraction unit extracts position information of the image, which is generated by the light emitted from the light emission device emits, from the image input by the image input unit. The function command specification unit extracts a mode of the image, which is generated by the light emitted from the light emission device, from the image input by the image input unit to specify a function command input by an operator. The function command output unit outputs the position information extracted by the position information extraction unit and the function command extracted by the function command specification unit.
Abstract: Such a displaying device that can be easily operated by aged persons and handicapped persons, and an image forming apparatus using the same will be provided. Upon continuously operating an upper button for the predetermined period of time, a set value of a magnification is changed at intervals of numeric change that are different from each other between a voice guide mode activated by a voice guide button and a normal mode. At this time, it is configured in such a manner that the interval of numeric change for the normal mode is smaller than the interval of numeric change for the voice guide mode, i.e., the changing rate of the set value of the magnification for the normal mode is larger than that for the voice guide mode.
