The task control information contains a relation between the tasks and a pointer indicating a storage location of a task sheet corresponding to the task, and the pointer is contained also in the task sheet. The task sheets are linked by this pointer. Tracing this pointer makes it possible to refer to the task sheets of the tasks involved, to grasp the progress state, and further to trace the task sheets involved.

Required fill-in information is operator inputted onto the second document in areas thereof overlaying the fill-in areas in the first document. By controlling the air flow into the well, the air flow circuit serves to regulate the vacuum that is applied to sub-surface contaminants. This vacuum lifts the contaminated effluent from the ground, so it can be subjected to further processing.

    Abstract: An image detection method is disclosed wherein local edge information within an image is utilized for accurately detecting lines and curves of the images. The method can more accurately determine the location and orientation of a pattern and thus provides more reliable image match for pattern detection. A detector is trained off-line with example images resulting in a stored template generated by recording a test pattern similar to a pattern to be tested; anchor lines are identified within said template. Long lines are detected in subsequent test patterns using the disclosed method. The template is rotated and shifted before matching it to the test pattern so that anchor lines align with long lines detected within the test pattern. The template and test pattern are then compared to determine whether there is a match.

    Abstract: A processor implemented method of modifying a string of a regular language, which includes at least two symbols and at least two predetermined substrings. Upon receipt of the string, the processor determines an initial position within the string of a substring matching one of the preselected substrings. To make this determination, the processor either matches symbols of the string starting from the left and proceeding to the right or by starting from the right and proceeding to the left. After identifying the initial position, the processor then selects either the longest or the shortest of the preselected substrings. The processor then replaces the matching substring with the string of the lower language associated with the selected preselected substring and outputs the modified string.
